Knysna Views Guest House — Hotel in George

On arriving at the Guest House we were given a warm welcome by Frederik and lots of helpful information about what to do and where to eat in Knysna. Our room (number 1) was enormous, beautifully decorated, as was the whole building, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Best of all, it had a wide balcony with what must be a candidate for the most spectacular view in Knysna over the town itself, the lagoon, and the Knysna Heads. There is also parking, which is good, since although the centre of town and the waterfront aren't far away, the walk back up would be very steep, and it's better to drive. Last, but certainly not least, breakfast is spectacular, served with a big smile, and Frederik or Frans are always available for a chat, advice or help if you need it. There is a library with books and DVDs that you can watch on the player in your room in the unlikely event that you tire of gazing at the view. I recommend it...

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Knysnaviews Guesthouse and we couldn't fault a thing!||Our request for a room with a large shower, to accomodate my wife's physical disability, was met without any issues. Besser gehts nicht! Super netter Empfang durch Franz und Mandy!! Wir, 4 Erwachsene, waren vom 21. bis 24.10.2018 als Gäste hier und durften uns von der wunderbaren Gastfreundschaft im Knysnaviews Guest House überzeugen! Tolle große Zimmer (1 und 4) mit riesiger verbundener Terrasse, spektakuläre Aussicht auf die Knysna Heads und die Lagune garantiert! Schon das alleine hat uns überzeugt und wurde nur noch vom Frühstück getoppt. Selten so ein Frühstück erlebt, und wir reisen wirklich viel. Franz hat wahre Dekorationskunstwerke geschaffen - und geschmeckt hats auch fantastisch! alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt, es hat an nicht`s gefehlt! Die Auffahrt zum Parkplatz ist zwar ziemlich steil, aber keineswegs problematisch - und wir hatten einen großen Jeep... Und wer die Auffahrt nicht fahren möchte, kann das Auto natürlich auch am Straßenrand stehen lassen ;-) Tolle Restauranttipps und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten von Franz waren auch wirklich sehr hilfreich! Zu erwähnen war auch die herzliche Geste von Franz der unseren Männern die Golfausrüstung besorgte und ihnen somit einen wunderbaren Golfvormittag in Knysna ermöglichte!
