I'm paying a lot of money for burgers. The chips were good . I noticed the burgers I ordered sitting for 10 minutes after having been made on the not so warm warming rack whilst other orders of people who ordered after me got their orders. So, after about 20 minutes of waiting, my order was ready. Bty, there were only 4 other patrons in the Steers. The burgers were mildly warm. As in just above room temperature. Apart from being cold, they were bland. Yesterday's seeded roll . Some mayonnaise smeared in the bottom half. The overcooked half warm pattie with a smudge of Steers sauce. About half a teaspoon worth. That's it. Bland and cold. Is that what I paid R120.00 plus for two of them. Really poor show as Steers is about burgers. So a really disappointed customer. Where are the gurkins? Some relish? To sum it up. The best burger I ever had was from Steers, and the worst also. The George franchise is a world apart. Perhaps the Knysna staff should go to George franchise to see how it is supposed to be...
Read moreToday we had the worst experience at Steers Knysna. First we were help by staff wearing her mask on her neck. Very load cashier with no mask talking over food, making milkshakes no mask in sight. Non of the staff member wear gloves touching all over there body the without washing hands touch the food you order. The manager sitting outside in the sun shouting and screaming at people walking around the building. The burger we order was dunck with sauce the milkshake was like water. The owner can be pleased people still buy from them maybe because it's the only Steers in town. Most definitely I will never visit Steers again. Compliance certificate display so big but no covid protocol is followed only the customer's do. One positive thing the ladies at Debonairs on point. The manager wears her uniform with pride and the rest of her team aswell. Just show if the person in charge take pride in what she does the staff working under her...
Read moreOur experience at this particular Steers was unfortunately not a happy one! The lady that served us was not friendly at all and was hard to understand when she rattled off the options we had for our Mjojo chicken burgers. Then after waiting at the counter for at least 15 minutes, I was approached by one of the kitchen staff and told that there was no pineapple for our burgers! This menu item is currently on a national promotional campaign!! After some back and forth which was completely unsatisfactory from a customer service point of view, I demanded my money back and left. This Knysna Steers doesn't seem like a happy place and I will not be supporting them in the future. A real pity, because we have had good service and good food from Steers at other franchises in the past. Come on Knysna... You can do much...
