Brenton Breakers — Hotel in George

Perhaps we were just lucky that in our search for a hotel we chose this one.||Stunning ocean and sunset views.||Everything else, of course, was also at a very good level. Although the town somehow generally left the impression of being very quiet, calm, beautiful and compact - everything is nearby, within walking distance.||But still, the main advantage of this hotel over almost all others is the ocean view. He's gorgeous.||Plus, there is a kind of personal beach, although the descent to it is not easy - a very steep staircase, the last meters on the steps of stones.||That is, all hotels can install barbecue equipment or a refrigerator, but few hotels can make themselves a personal beach with a gorgeous view.||And - good room layout, cleanliness, complete set of necessary equipment, including a personal barbecue area. All this is there and all this is at a decent level. Security - security, if necessary, works clearly (we forgot to turn off the alarm once, security appeared...

When you decide to stay at Brenton Breakers, it is for the view...it is amazing. Unfortunately you cannot go to the beach from there as you will need to go down very steep stairs...unless you are super fit. The unit provides for basic needs and was clean but had a musty smell. Unfortunately when there is loadshedding there is no way to cook any food or even make a cup of coffee because stoves are electric. We were there during a time when Eskom decided to do stage 4 loadshedding. We could therefore also not warm any milk for our baby. I would suggest they put little gas burners in the units for times like these. No washing machine in the unit means it is not convenient for...

Stunning view from the apartment on the ocean, you miss this place even while you're stay there. It's a quiet place to stay in, for relaxing and basking view of the ocean, making braai. It's well equipped, have all needed except washing machine. It's located a bit far from the center of Knysna on the rock and downstairs to the beach. Have common yard for braai (bbq). It's a guarded 24/7, apartments has own alarm system, so it's really safe.||Stayed for the two nights.||-- a bit minuses --||There was hairs on a bed linen and in shower, a bit dusty on floor...
