Goshen Lodge Fitzroy — Hotel in Goodwood

Hi I am Thenjiwe from the South African National Defence Force…..we booked our stay for work reasons for 7 nights for the SONA…. I don’t think we will ever book this place or even recommend it to people ….1 there are no convenient mirrors in the rooms…..2 the kitchen is shared …3 the owner is extremely rude ….we tried to figure out why he was rude but it seems like his a bad businessman…..I believe every business will grow if you listern to guests and what they suggest and not just be rude to them …..our 2nd day sleeping there …..we kindly asked him if it’s possible to get mirrors and the reply was : WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET…..we than left it as that …..the price was R950 which we felt is was just too hight for the state of the accommodation…..the owner also gives more attention to people who are not South Africans…….lastly the ladies who are working for him are the best …they treated us very well …..wish they could get...

I would like to share my ful experience at the property. First of all i apprciate the hotel staff isebella who was very interestly taking care of us on a extreme level with great smile. Rooms were good and the open area is top safe and secure, pleasently chilled place. Neighbourhood was very simple and silent place where i recomend and no doubts staff was very actively taken care of the guests 24hrs and hatoffs to the owner who treat us well with delight! Also our recommend driver Mr.K K who took us all over the places appreciate him he made our journey succesful with safety. He was amazing guy! Hotel location was very efficient on site visting for cape point,camps bay,penguin vist,table moutain,waterfront.bit a drive but easy can reach the places within 30mins.

Rooms are nice and clean, including bedding. We were a group of 5 in one room a but cramped/ small but I believe we got our monies worth. Isabelle a wonderful friendly host it was delightful being with her for 7 days. Security is great felt safe all the time. Its a little distance from the CBD, however Shops are available near by and taxis for transportation are...
