Absolutely shocking experience. We were told we can only order sushi because the kitchen is too busy to make food from noodle menu. Obligingly ordered and proceeded to wait 1.5hrs to receive a 1/4 of our entire order. We had to collect our own food from the pass, as well remind the barman to pour our drinks. After following up numerous times we asked to talk to manager/owner - when we explained our wait and could he perhaps intervene he turned around and walked off. We then addressed him again and said we will walk out if we don’t receive the remainder of our order as we have a show to watch, he just laughed at us and walked away. So we tipped our waitress (lack of food was not her fault, we could see she was trying her best in a very mismanaged operation) and we walked out to which the waitress ran after us relaying to us that her boss says she’s in huge trouble for this. At the worry of her loosing her job over this we paid for the food we received and said the owner can phone us if he has a problem with the balance. Very bad experience. Went to eat dinner here as most restaurants were full due to a show on that night. We ordered drinks starters and mains at the same time as they were quite busy. Drinks took about 20 mins to arrive. Was only 2 brandy and 2 cokes so not extravagant drinks. Then after an hour and a half, one mains arrived. Still no starters. Waited another 10 mins then a starter we didn't order arrived. After another 15 to 20 mins other mains half arrived as they ran out of rice. Rice came 10 mins later. We finished the mains then another starter that wasn't ours arrives. So we just cancelled our starters at this point, paid and left. When waitress came to ring us up, she forgot to add tip so we told her to charge again for tip, which she told us she doesn't get. The staff keep all their tips. Shocking how they don't give the wait staff their tips. They even had a special reduced show menu which they couldn't do. Food was about the same I would get at any decent fast food place except the portions were a quarter of the size for 3x the price. Would not eat here again. We sadly had a very disappointing “half”dinner. As we were there for 2 hrs and only half of our table were served their meals in that time. Eventually we left, as the restaurant was not particularly worried about us not receiving the food we ordered etc. The waitress was lovely, helping us from the beginning choose meals that will should have come out quicker (due to seeing a show at 8:30pm). But sadly due to the lack of kitchen staff (only one sushi chef!) this did not happen. I feel particularly sorry for waitresses as one could see they were trying their best, but they are very understaffed. Sadly when speaking to management, there was not much concern for the client (us) or the waitress being treated poorly by management. There was neither much concern about us not getting our full meal and many members of the party did not eat dinner at all. Very sad, as the menu did look great (never got to taste anything) and it was well decorated.

Hopefully management can take this as constructive criticism and on busy nights with shows on , triple the amount of ground staff. Triple the amount of kitchen staff, so they can fulfil the promises and...
