Ocean Gaze B&B — Hotel in Hibiscus Coast Local Municipality

We spent 4 nights at Ken and Clare's superb B & B. The setting is as fantastic as the photos suggest. We went with the intention of largely relaxing and this was achieved despite two days of heavy rain when it was still possible to sit outside on the covered terrace with a book and a glass of wine enjoying the ocean views. Our room lacked nothing and was very comfortable and spacious with a lovely balcony. Clare and Ken are very helpful and attentive hosts providing us with excellent recommendations of places to visit and where to eat. Superb breakfasts made for a great start to every day and we also enjoyed the option available to take breakfast at the very nearby Waffle House which we took advantage of on one of the mornings. We had travelled from New Zealand for a family memorial service and to look after an ill family member. Ocean Gaze was the perfect place of respite after long and emotional days. Clare, Ken and their staff made us so welcome and relaxed. Their attention to detail is exemplary and their ability to provide considered, caring, timely and unobtrusive service and local advice was exceptional. The accommodation was extremely well appointed, spacious and very comfortable. Simply put - it was WOW. The property have by far the best view in the area and is walking distance from the beach. The hostess made a lot of effort to ensure that we are comfortable and always at hand without intruding. The room was modern, clean and spacious. Information with regard to things to do around the area were provided. The luxurious set-up is such that the breakfast room had a very nice veranda to relax and looking out on the sea with the swimming pool in front. The breakfast, although vegetarian, was healthy a and appetizing. I enjoyed our stay and will most definitely stay there again if we are in the vicinity again. I found it to be very good...
