Gourmet mielie pap with corn kernels and barbecue sauce provided. Service exceptional. Ambience out of a picture and love again...at first sight. 💘💘💘

We went to La Scala for a birthday celebration, the food was really good, it's definetely home style comfort food and a quick glance at the menu , very reasonably priced for the area. Staff was friendly , food came out quick and was freshly prepared, good atmosphere, what more can you wish for? I can highly recommend them! Edit: it has been 7 months since we visited La Scali, and I am happy to report it's just as good, this time round we came in for their Sunday lunch , R95 for a 3 course meal featuring a Eisbein potatoes,veg and a sweet mustard sauce, it was amazing , home style with ultra crispy crackling! Best value for money in the entire Ramsgate, this place truelly is a hidden gem!

2023: Rochelle is a well mannered hostess. I'm enjoying the new vibe and meal specials. Personal preference are fish dishes and chicken stir fry. Nxosi the Chef. 2023: Been again and a big difference. Upgraded and well kept. Small holding slowly starting to feel like a home away from home. 2022: I didn't expect a good plate of food, but I was surprised. Starter and dessert were tasty too, compliments to the Chef. Well presented meals. Service was great. Only thing is that the place does need a bit of upkeep. Smell of cats or animals while eating is not very pleasant to person's not used to it or allergic.

2023: Rochelle is a well mannered hostess. I'm enjoying the new vibe and meal specials. Personal preference are fish dishes and chicken stir fry. Wow man WOW!!! Where do I even start! The service ambassador Lebo was an absolute star!! In Lebo's case to say waiter is for sure inaccurate! That Dude is a Service Ambassador!!! Then we get to the very affordable menu. Enough variety, enough options.... So the food arrives and whoomp there it is!! Man, melt in the mouth Chicken Schnitzel! The man doing the food is a fabulous Chef! The portion size was very very nice! The restaurant itself is such a nice place with beautiful paintings inside, a great music selection in the background and well lit but not glaring... Propped mood lit! La Scali is the place to be! Go and see for...
