Whaleback Cottage - BillsBest — Hotel in Hibiscus Coast Local Municipality

We just spent a lovely relaxing week at Whaleback Cottage. The cottage is fairytale beautiful and just has the most serene atmosphere. The fact that it's only a couple of steps down a path to a lovely pet-friendly beach is such a bonus. From the deck you have a view of the ocean on two sides. The cottage is equipped with everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. The cottage is serviced each day by the lovely Doreen! What a friendly sweetheart. I did leave out one star because it must be made very clear that the cottage is in DIRE need of an aesthetic makeover inside. Very! Great place but don't say it's pet friendly when you have a wall that is low with boulders in the yard right next to the wall that certain dogs can climb and jump out! Locks on doors don't work properly....general safety is just ridiculous and the main gate into the property doesn't even close properly. Sorry Bill but you make enough money...make an effort to make it truly pet friendly and make people feel a bit safe there....your maintenance truly is null and void! Fortunately I have four huskies that are well behaved and I always travel with extra fencing...otherwise I would have checked in and checked...
