Montagu Vines Guesthouse — Hotel in Langeberg Local Municipality

What a delight. When lovely rooms, location, and people are combined the result is excellent. We arrived unbooked and earlier than check in. This was not by plan but by necessity as I had become unwell. We were wholeheartedly welcomed in by the owners who made us feel at home and at ease. They understood I was not at my best and were totally accommodating to my needs and comfort. I can not speak highly enough of the care they have shown for my well-being. The grounds are immaculate and the rooms are very nicely appointed. The cleaning and ground staff do the owners proud. You can see and feel the high expectations of the owners. The breakfasts are fantastic. A lovely menu sits aside the table fare of croissants, local dried fruit, jams and cheeses. The bathroom is well appointed and clean and the water pressure is good. Montagu Vines is a beautiful guest house in a lovely town, which is safe to walk around at any time of the day or night. Pam and Anthony are great hosts, the rooms are huge and extremely comfortable and the breakfasts are superb. The gardens are huge and the staff are all so kind. There is a selection of good restaurants within easy walking distance and Pam had even booked us in to a great one ‘just in case’.
