Langebaan Sea Cottages — Hotel in Saldanha Bay Local Municipality

Having never been to Langebaan I was referred these cottages from a work colleague. Great place, super accommodation. We almost missed it driving past as you would never know it was accommodation. There are actually 3 separate units with their own entrance and all overlook a communal courtyard that's just gorgeous. A BBQ (clean) is also there for your use. ||||We got there very late from Capetown and to our surprise the host gave us a complimentary breakfast hamper the next morning ... eggs, bread etc - awesome.||||We stayed in the front unit which has another sitting area at the front and overlooks the beach - a clear stunning view. Definitely one of the cleanest and more equipped places we have stayed in and for the price we were stoked - they are all self catering which was a bonus. ||||Not knowing the area, we learnt that where we stayed is one of the more private accommodations - others have hundreds of units & apartments. PLUS it was a minute walk to the beach, about a minute walk from the very cool Friday Island restaurant and a walk or minutes drive to the town centre. Really, really convenient.||||You are bordering the local village which, for us was a bonus as you didn't feel like you were exclusively amongst tourists! (Not our thing). ||||The unit itself was larger than expected - really spacious and quite sound proofed.||The hosts live on the property in a separate house, they were really friendly and helpful but stayed out of your way. Very friendly hosts and neat and spacious rooms. Beds are two twins combined, clean sheets and blankets. Kitchen is fitted with microwave, two plate stove with mini oven, fridge/freezer, and kettle. There is a dining table with chairs, television and small living room. Bathroom is equipped with shower, large corner tub, sink and loo. Water pressure is fantastic and water is piping hot. For loadshedding, there is a small iverter for light, charging your phone and watching tv. The room is equipped with a fan an plenty of cupboard space. This is not a B&B as listed here. It is a holiday rental home with 3 seperate units, which all share the same courtyard and is decorated in a Moroccan style. ||||The house is about a 100m away from the beach and within minutes drive from the shops etc. You could even walk if you want. ||||The facilities are well equiped and the manager of the place was really friendly and accomodating, especially if you consider that we rented two of the units for 4 night to celebrate 2 birthday parties that went on pretty late into the night. :-) ||||Even though not advertised on their website, there was also free Wi-Fi available. ||||All in all we really enjoyed...
