I just had a delightful experience at Milky Lane! The service was warm and inviting, and it was clear that the team was dedicated to making my visit special. But what really stood out was Lorraine, the cashier - she was absolutely lovely! She had a bright smile and a friendly demeanor that put me at ease. She took my order with ease, answered all my questions, and even recommended some tasty treats. Her kindness and attentiveness really made my visit to Milky Lane a sweet treat. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, Lorraine's wonderful service made me feel like I was part of the family. I'm so grateful for the wonderful experience and can't wait to go back and indulge in more of Milky Lane's yummy goodies with Lorraine's...

Joyce at milkylane was most inhospitable. We kindly asked her to clean the tables as we ordered three waffles sit down. She only came after asking me if I had ordered. So unwiilinh to clean their very own establishment, unless we ordered!! Then when she did come to wipe the table, she wiped only one of the two tables stating she can't get to the other table !!!. Our response, we will gladly move and give you space to wipe the table. The floor was littered with food from previous clients. In returning tp her station, she wiped another table...but only half of the table...with visible crumbs left on the other half of the table. Sad and put a rather off taste in our experience as we were vacationing...

These guys make THE best double thick milkshake in the Western Cape! Only the gourmet 'shakes in Barrydale supercede those I enjoy from Milky Lane in Langebaan. We've always been greeted with friendly warmth and beaming smiles, and on hot busy days I accept some delay is inevitable - and worth it when tucking into the double-thick. Recently also got hooked on their divine Ripple Affogato.

Update 16 June 2024: Now in their new premises away from the beach, the shop is as busy as ever - testament to their service and quality. Chocolate double thick milkshake is still a winner - thick, creamy, and real...
