What a very nice dining experience. We had our 10th year anniversary here. I booked a day in advance, and when received at the door, the waitress new about it, even though I booked on the phone with another person. This tells me that they take these things to heart and make something special out of it. I have done something as simple as just plain bookings in the past at other places, and then the reservation wasn't even taken down and we couldn't get a table when we arrived. But in this case we were welcomed very warmly. This was our first experience here and will definitely not be our last. The drinks were cold and quick, the food was also very quick and man, IMHO I had the best ribs purely because of it's unique basti g sauce and the awesome presentation. Rustic but also modern. The place was busy and our food was perfectly warm. My wife had thw calamari and she was also very impressed. We also had tge opportunity to speak to the owner and what a very nice lady. The owners are on the floor at all times making sure that everyone is happy. The kitchen staff looks very happy and vibrant. The atmosphere was also very cozy and relaxing. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Langebaan for a weekend or visit. Please keep up the good standard and warm...

Had a lovely farewell dinner on Wednesday evening with a guest from NZ. Lovely warm atmosphere. All had snails with garlic for starter which was tasty, and for main I had steak, sirloin medium to rare which was done to perfection, succulent and with delicious flavour. All others enjoyed their meat as well done exactly as requested, we asked for onion rings which was not on the menu and they delivered delicious fried battered onion rings without any excuses. (Expexted to be disappointed!!) The service was on point, friendly and accommodating. The waitress engaged us the whole evening went the extra mile to wait on all our needs, patiently even taking photographs of us when requested and remained friendly all night even when it was obvious that we were the only guests remaining and it was close to lock up. We were very impressed with the food overall specially getting the medium to rare steaks 100% to our liking which is not always our experience when eating out. I can honestly recommend Kokomos without reservation and if you are difficult to satisfy with regards to your level of grilled steak-preference, you definitely will be pleasantly surprised. We called Kokomos on 31 Dec to request to book a table for lunch for our group of 20 people on 2 January. We were told to call back the morning of 2 Jan and make our request to Mark, the manager. When we spoke to Mark on 2 Jan, he informed us that Kokomos does not take bookings, but he agreed to hold a table for us from 12h30 until 12h40. So long as we were there before 12h40, we would get our table. We made 4 calls to Kokomos over the 2 days to get this table. We were there at 12h32, and there was no table for us. In fact, it seems there never was. The place was full and Mark did not care that he had made a commitment to a large family group with young children, and now we had nowhere to go. His manner was also very abrasive and completely unapologetic. He was rude to my son who was simply trying, very politely, to find out if we could wait for a table. I would not eat there at any time even if they paid me to do so! We deserved better for the time and effort we put into trying to get our large group a table there....
