We stayed in a Deluxe triple with a private bathroom. I will begin with the positive aspects:||1. Good location, very close to the subway and very close to the beach and centre pedestrian street of Haundae||2. The room and bathroom was spacious||3. The room was inexpensive||The negative aspects:||1. When we booked the information about the hotel on TripAdvisor said it included a complementary breakfast, the signboard at the front of the hotel said the breakfast was complementary but at the hotel we were told we had to pay for breakfast||2. They provided 2 towels per person but the towels they provided were tiny hand towels. I thought there must have been a mistake so I asked at reception and they confirmed they only provide tiny towels||3. The hand wash provided (no soap just hand and body wash) was watered down||4. The rooms were not clean, heaps of dust but what was worse was the dead/squashed mosquitos stuck to the walls and blood spots where mosquitos were squashed||5. The rooms were dark, with the blinds open and all the lights and lamps on we still had to use head lamps to read a book. The only bright light was the sensor light in the hall way which turned on whenever you went to the toilet in the middle of the night.||6. WiFI is only on the first floor (according to the signage we did not use it because we did not hang out there)||7. There is one nice girl working at reception (she checked us in) but the girl there in the morning had a lot to learn about customer service. They have a sign stating you can use the laundromat at marine city (if you need your clothes washed quicker than their 5 hour turn around) so I asked her where the laundromat at marine city was and she answered “I don’t know, look it up on google”, after an hour of searching google I was not able to find it and I went back and asked here again whereupon she printed me a map with directions (already prepared for guests). Why not just give me that in the first instance. At check out she claimed I had not paid for the room when I had - turns out she was looking at the wrong date||Yes it is cheap and if price and location is the only thing you value then it is a great place for you but I also value service, atmosphere and cleanliness so it was not a great place...

They provided 2 HANDTOWELS. Omgee!!!||||2. The location is not in Busan center. 45 minutes to get to Busan University. Except for the beach as this is near to the beach.||||3. No wifi access in our room!||||4. Bad service from the Staff.||I was there at 1PM but there were no receptionist. When she finally came in, I approached her and tell her that I have reservation. She said , " can you comeback after 10 minutes because my break is not yet finish." Really bad service.||Then I sat on the lounge and just talk on the phone . She went out again and cameback. She then told me while I was on the phone with someone "can you go to the reception now and check in?" Then I thought, maybe she will check me in..||She processed my payment and ask for my passport but didn't let me in. I was like. What the?? She didn't bother to look at my face or say anything to me after she gave me my card.||Tsk tsk! Then 2 more staff came in, they didn't know that my payment was process already, the girl who process my payment didn't told them. They keep me waiting until past 3pm!||When I finally checkin, the room was in fact ready, and I am the only person who will use that room.||Normally, with other hostel, they will allow you to do early checkin specially if the room is already available. That girl kept me waitng from 1PM - 3PM.. goodness! she didn't even bother to tell me if it's ok to just leave my luggage.||||When it's time for me to check out, I told her, I am checking out, (same girl). Again, didn't even bother to look at me , she just point out the box where I need to drop...
Read moreHostel is easy to find - you can reach it by subway or by bus, with just 2 or 3 minutes walk. Check in is straightforward, no need for passport, just need to pay. Rooms are quiet - very private little bunk beds with comfortable mattress and duvet, and enough room to keep your important belongings next to the bed. There is a curtain to give you privacy in the bed, and even with the curtain closed, there is enough room to sit up straight on the side of the matress. There is a space for big suitcases under the bed, with a door you can padlock. That makes the room seem very tidy. There is one bathroom per room, and a separate toilet. There is also a big mirror above a counter.
For breakfast there were 2 types of cereal with real milk, coffee, tea, ramen, and toast with butter, peanut butter, or jam. Plenty of space and dishes, though you do need to do your own washing up.
Only problem was with the door keys - it's like a hotel, where you need to put the card into a slot to turn on the lights. That means that you can't leave your power bank, etc. to charge while you go out. It also makes it awkward in the morning, where you need to constantly swap the card in the slot when you go outside.
Overall, it was a pretty luxurious feeling hostel, in a convenient location. I would definitely...
