Jungdam Hanok Homestay — Hotel in Jeonju-si

We stayed here two nights while visiting Jeonju to experience hanok stay. We arrived early and the room was not ready yet but the owner was super super nice and she was an old lady and use translator to talk to us. My sister good in korean and have really good talk with her. We can leave our luggage there while waiting for the room to be ready and it was very safe as the lady lived there and she would move the luggage to the room once the room was ready. I felt bad because our lugage was very heavy. The room was very clean and really warm. The bathroom in the small side but what we expected for a hanok stay. The lady gave us lots of water and great homemade korean breakfast. The hanok was really beautiful and located in the best location as it is near the major attraction in the area. I really recommend to stay here while visiting Jeonju but you need to book further away as this one...

Great location, great experience. Location was excellent - right in the middle of the hanok village with food and convenience stores all around. Room was small but functional - clean, with strong wifi, several sockets, and clean comfy futons. Toilet was small but functional - hairdryer provided but best to bring your own toiletries (only towels provided). the ahjussi and ahjumma running the hanok stay were the sweetest and very helpful. ahjussi helped w the check in thoroughly, and made sure we knew how to lock and unlock the hanok room doors. ahjumma makes the loveliest breakfast every morning at 8am for all boarders - black sesame porridge, fruits, toast and omelette. they also helped us to call a taxi to the bus terminal. highly rec, very value for...

I stayed at this wonderful location during June, and it was a truly delightful experience.
