Gyodong Tteokgalbi — Restaurant in Jeonju-si

Arrived at this place half an hour before their break time, so the establishment was quiet, which was good. Ambience and scenery was serene and peaceful, maybe more so since no one was around.

Many sites mentioned that this was THE place to try tteokgalbi and so we ventured forth.

Ordered the tteokgalbi. Ummmm............ I think its better to just get a normal burger from a fast food joint. Flavour and texture would be exactly the same, and at a much cheaper price.

Korean restaurant - selling beef Galbi and bimbimbap. Side dishes - quite a bit. Each person must order 1 main dish, and they basically had like very limited main dishes. The bimbimbap is very spicy, seaweed soup was good. Food is so so, not very nice but also not that it’s not nice. Edible I would say.

Price is - 12000 won for the Jeonju bimbimbap And then for the yeonsu bimbimbap it’s 15000

P.s a lot of mosquitoes somehow 😢 Not sure about the galbi but it’s 30000 won at least.

Lunch set much more worth it, can get the galbi and cold...

Stony faced staff who served with minimal effort. Had difficulty understanding the menu and while i was google translating, the lady staff looked on with contempt and made some remarks under her breath.
