Aria Hotel — Hotel in Seogwipo-si

The rooms don't look entirely like the photos, it gave off a creepy vibe on the first night with wood creaking/window pattering sounds and a badly placed mirror facing the bed. After we faced the mirror to the wall we were able to sleep. I was initially shocked coming here from a 4 star Seoul hotel as Aria does not provide room cleaning and you have to ask for new towels, soap, water at the front desk. However the receptionist (I believe her name is Lane) is very friendly, I absolutely love her smile (another receptionist named Chloe's too). They made the stay so much better. It is indeed a nice view but just don't expect anything 4 star like you also have to call them up if you want to change from heater to air conditioner.

Location: we were mainly taking bus this trip. There are a few bus stops that are about 7-10min walk away (eg Cheonjeyeon falls, Jungmun Tourist Complex Entrance) that will bring you where you need to go eg seogwipo, airport, osulloc tea museum. Other than the hotel is a bit dated, the rest are all good. Bed was comfy, shower was strong and they have bathtub too. Would be superb when they do some upgrading. The hotel is located at a strategic area in Jungmun, walking distance to Mc.Donalds, Starbucks and many other local restaurants. Service was great and we were greeted by Jenny who speaks excellent English and she was very helpful to recomend us places to go near Jungmun. A must go is the nearby Cheonjeyeon waterfalls. This hotel is one of the most affordable places to stay in the Choongmun area. It’s in a very convenient location, and there are a lot of nice restaurants nearby. The hotel has a lovely looking cafe which only opens until 6 pm, but I would recommend people to visit there once.
