YE'4 GUESTHOUSE — Hotel in Seoul

I have been in Korea many times, so when I come to Seoul I look for a special guesthouses with an exceptional atmosphere and beautiful interior. So when I found YE'4 Guesthouse, I was super excited and booked a bed in the dormitory room as well.

Compared to other guesthouses in Seoul and Hongdae, YE'4 is really clean and has amazing modern facilities! A healthy, freshly made breakfast with eggs, salad, chicken nuggets, corn soup and other extras apart from the regular cereals and bread are included in the price!

Yeonhui-dong isn't very famous among travelers, but actually there is so many beautiful restaurants and cafes here and it's a lot of fun to walk around and take photos. There is a little stream just around the corner where you can rent bicycles and go all the way to Han River. Or you go to Hongdae walking through the brand new Gyeongi Line Park, which is also framed by restaurants and cafes and boutiques on both sides. As for subway, there is Gawja Station on the Gyeongi Line and a large number of different busses taking you to Hongdae, Sinchon, Ewha, Dongdaemun, Hyewha or even Sinsa and COEX in Gangnam without any transfers!

Lastly, the owner and staffs of this guesthouse were really super nice and did always go the extra mile to make me feel comfortable. If you want to, they set up the movie theater for you in the ground floor and you can play WII or sing karaoke at YE'4, too!

I really enjoyed my stay and I hope I will be able to come back one day! The guesthouse with all it's different designer furniture-like interior was great to take photos or just take in the atmosphere. (By the way, they filmed some TV shows and dramas here and the guesthouse was featured in 'Maison' magazine, too!!!)

I stayed at YE'4 Guesthouse in December last year. I have been in Korea a couple of times before, so I was looking for something more unique than your regular 0815 run-down hostel. YE'4 Guesthouse doesn't only look like it could appear in an IKEA catalog, in fact it has been the location for several drama and TV show shootings. Exciting!!||||First of all, the house is very clean. I kinda feel uncomfortable at other guest houses sometimes, especially at the shower facilities. But at YE'4 all facilities are being kept very clean and if you want you can get fresh towels every day.||||The breakfast was great, too! Every morning the staff would make a fresh salad, boil eggs, fry chicken nuggets, dumplings and other small bites to accompany the regular toast and cereal breakfast. I have never seen any other guesthouse doing this!||||But more than anything else, I was impressed by the staff's effort to make me feel comfortable and help me with all my needs. There was plugs for foreign devices, guide books and maps about Seoul with some nice spots I hadn't seen before, and if I needed directions anywhere, the staff was really helpful in finding the best route and even printing me all the directions in English. There is a couple of different bus lines that take you to all the famous sightseeing spots without transfers. If you come to the guesthouse, the staff can pick you up at the nearest station on the airport line for free ^__^||||There is many more amazing things to tell here, but I think it's best and come to see this place for yourself. I personally think it's a hidden gem in Seoul. There is probably no other guesthouse where you can get this level of comfort for such a price.||||Will be back on my next...

From the design of the guesthouse to the team managing this place, this has got to be the best place to stay with a pleasant memorable experience. |A mix of chic, classy and homely interior design done by the owner, every inch of the house was breathtaking and inspiring. |The owner and team managing the guesthouse welcomed us with a plate of tteok and assisted us with cooking of ramyun when we first arrived late in the night and was always offering us drinks, TV and games, making sure our stay throughout was comfortable and enjoyable. In addition,the boss and his friends were always present, chatting with us and attending to our enquiries, adding a personal touch to our stay at the guesthouse. We were always treated as invited guests and we were always grateful for their kind gestures. |Moreover, the boss and his team helped us with the luggages to the bus stop and even offered to top up our cash for taxi instead of the airport limousine bus when he found out it was a 30minutes wait in the cold and bought us hot drinks when we declined.
