The onion soup was somewhat different than I've ever had before; however, it was yummy. Also boiling hot! The picture shows it was still boiling when served.
There is also a picture of another appetizer, prawn cocktail. Three in our party had that.
What we really came to try was the paella. I have had many in my days, and every single one was available in about 15 minutes. That made me wonder about the 20 minutes it took to cook the rice.
This paella we had to order 24 hours in advance. That sounded better. It had (at least) mussels, prawns, beef, chicken, and calamari. The rice was very moist, and I will say this is hands down the best paella I have ever had.
I tried the fresh fruit salad for dessert, and another in our group had tiramisu. Both were excellent.
On top of the fantastic food was the best service I have ever encountered on the island, including a couple of Michelin Guide restaurants in the big city.

Staff - brilliant very friendly service that wouldn't be bettered in a Michelin starred restaurant in the UK.
Food - EXCEPTIONAL. I had lamp chops (lamb is quite expensive on Tenerife) and I was served 6 of the most gorgeous chops. My wife had grilled Sole and it was equally superb.
Wine - always wary of cheap house wine - but the house wine here was very palatable at an extraordinary cheap price.
Value for money - amazing. The restaurant is classy, the service is exceptional and the food is fantastic.
Overall - our first time at Coy but it absolutely won't be our last. All the food that we saw served looked amazing and we can't wait to go back

We found an amazing service, all staff were helpful, attentive and extremely polite it's a long time since I've received such a high standard of service anywhere yet still feeling relaxed and comfortable. They apologised and said due to it being very busy there may be a delay getting our meals, that was not apparent as starters arrived promptly and to a very good and tasty standard. We had fillet and sirloin steaks and they were cooked to perfection and tasty . We found the prices very reasonable as we'd all had starters , mains ,2 desserts 4 lagers and house wine . We definitely would have gone back again but unfortunately it was our last night in resort but if we come back its...
