During my stay at Barcelona Catalonia 505, I was thoroughly impressed by the size, natural lighting, and cleanliness of the hotel rooms. The spaciousness of the rooms allowed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, while the abundance of natural light added a refreshing touch to the ambiance.

The well-thought-out layout and clever utilization of space ensured that I had enough room for all my belongings without feeling cramped. It was a pleasure to have such a generous amount of space to unwind and feel at home.
The abundant natural light that streamed through the windows was truly a highlight. Not only did it create a bright and cheerful atmosphere, but it also offered a beautiful view of the surroundings. I found myself waking up to the gentle rays of sunlight, which set a positive tone for the day ahead.
One aspect that truly stood out was the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job in maintaining the rooms to the highest standards. Every corner was spotless, and the attention to detail was commendable. It was evident that the hotel took great pride in ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for its guests.
In addition to the spaciousness, natural lighting, and cleanliness, the rooms were also well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. From the comfortable beds to the modern furnishings, everything was designed with both comfort and style in mind. The attention to detail was apparent, and it made my stay all the more enjoyable.

Read moreYet another cheap bargain last minute trip, this time it took us to Barcelona. Arrived at the hotel 3 hours early and was surprised to be let into the room at this time. It was a ground floor room and had a huge corner bathroom with a bath and shower, ( unable to use bath as no plug). Comfy beds, clean room that was serviced yo a high standard every day. On the 4th floor is an outside area with a plunge pool, several sun-beds, chairs and two relaxing beds, also a bar. Really nice area again clean and tidy. |Friendly, nice staff. Centra Barcelona with the bus V3 just outside the door and H6 around the corner, both taking you most places around Barcelona or maybe to get link transport. |Nice area , great location plus a nice little coffee shop a few doors away.|Fantastic air con in the rooms.||Would have actually got 5* except… a small pubic like hair left in the bath. Also this place has a membership and i joined which gave us a free bottle of water every day but thats about it as it is also meant to give 10% discount on food and drink but the pool|Barman did not know anything about this. We decided not to go far one night as shattered from our day out so went yo the downstairs bar area to ask about food, was told by a very rude lady that downstairs was just for breakfast and when i continued to ask if we could eat in the bar area she totally blanked me and started talking to a spanish family that arrived after us with smiles and welcoming. We did not eat there and went elsewhere. Such a shame as i think this is a really nice hotel and...
Read moreThis was the worst hotel I have ever experienced in Barcelona, and it got worse with every minute I stayed there. First, parking is difficult. The garage entry is narrow, smelled and it is not clear where you should park the car. There is no elevator/lift to the lobby so you have to carry all your luggage up a couple of flights of stairs. We checked in, and our "Superior Double Room, Terrace" was on the top floor by the pool. On our way there we saw towels everywhere and a general mess at every turn. Just a completely disgustingly unkempt hotel. My eyes burned from the bleach of the rooftop pool. I tried to rinse them out in the bathroom and saw how dirty and outdated the bathroom is. The terrace, that we paid extra for, was dirty and the ashtray was used. It was semi-private and our hotel neighbors could see us, not to mention the apartments across the street could get a full view of us. I wanted to take a chance on a local boutique hotel and this is what I get - a dirty, disgusting experience. We left because I couldn't fathom staying the night there - if I could see this much filth in the daylight what could be lurking when the sun goes down? They didn't refund any money even though we were not even there 30 minutes, but we left anyway. The only saving grace is that I get to write this review and tell you to STAY AWAY from this place. The pictures they feature on their website and other booking sites are taken by a talented photographer but that's all they have going for them is nice photos....
