La Taula Restaurant — Restaurant in Barcelona

I wish I had taken photos, but it was so delicious it was gone as soon as it arrived. The waitress was the wife of the chef. They serve a prefix menu that changes per season/month. The food was well cooked, delicious and came with unlimited house wine, which was also good. 100% recommend. I got the lamb shoulder and can’t recall everything else. I plan to go again and will update my review.

UPDATE: can I just say this is such an underrated venue. It has the nicest owner and a genius chef in the kitchen. They have a fabulous unlimited wine option and you can’t beat this pricing for such a lovely dining experience. We had a mushroom risotto with ibérico ham, scallops cooked perfectly in a well seasoned broth topped with jamón and green beans, burrata pasta with shrimp, eggplant/onions with toasted pita (can’t recall the name of the bread used), brownie cake and white chocolate panacotta topped with passion fruit drizzle. I meant to take a picture of the menu with all the delicious dishes, but this will not be our last time going to enjoy their restaurant so next time I will.

ANOTHER VISIT Once again fabulous. Cava was unlimited so I had a hard time making it to dessert 😆 my husband is not a tartar fan and the chef made it in such a way that he ate the entire dish! We had an amazing time in that restaurant! The service is friendly and very professional, super on point. Food wise, it was super tasty, all the dishes were delicious 🤤 my personal standout would be the meloso de ternera, it simply melts in your mouth, so yummy! The wine selection was very good too so nothing to complain in any of these aspects. My family and I have come to eat at Christmas, and we have been served a tasting menu and some seconds. The service was excellent from the very beginning. We also liked that the place is cozy and familiar. The food is incredible, I don't eat meat and I always have difficulties to eat closed menus, here I have been able to eat everything!
