Les Arrels Hotel Cadaqués — Hotel in Cadaqués

We stayed here for 2 nights last week and our only wish is that it was longer! Its a family run hotel and everyone who works there is super warm, friendly and attentive. The hotel is on the cliff top above the town of Cadaques with beautiful views of the white washed buildings, beaches and water. Our room had a private terrace and a comfortable queen bed with an ensuite shower/ bathroom. It was clean & fresh and we absolutely loved ending the day looking out over the town with a beer - you can not beat the view. Breakfast is included and delicious, its a 5 - 10 minute walk in to town/ the beach - so youre not over run with tourists but its super quick and easy to pop in! Also really nice to walk off dinner in the evening! When we checked in we were given a map and given a run down on the best places to hike, eat and swim - I cant remember the name of who checked us in but she was super generous with her time and her recommendations were spot on. We wanted to go Salvador Dali's house but hadn't realized we needed to book - so she rang ahead for us and got us a spot. Honestly I have stayed in 5 star hotels more than double the price and not enjoyed it as much as this! We were blessed with amazing weather and had the most relaxing 3 days. Thank you...

We arrived in Cadaques in peak season with no accomodation, we loved Cadaques, it is picture perfect. we called Arrels and Tito answered and offered us a Room, we were only there for one night. as soon as we arrived to the property this place is absolutely beautiful , stunning view and room are extremelly clean. breakfast is delicious. However what made our stay was the fantastic hospitality that Tito and Nanda offered . They are helpful friendly lovely people and Pablo the young man that works for them in the morning is also extremelly helpful. we stayed an extra night as this place really was the highlight of our holiday, thanks to Tito, Bands and Pablo. Cadaques eu sogno, e stupenda, comunque noi abbiamo allogiato ad "Arrels". The views over cadaques are incomparable and the family have made this spot amongst the terraced olive groves heavenly. Easy car access from the main road into the town ( look out for sign on left and don’t follow satnav into town) and ample spacious parking. It’s only a 5 minute walk into the town via steps or a quiet road so do not let the elevated position of the hotel put you off - the views and ambience are well worth it. Our room (#3) was simply furnished but with all we needed including air con, fridge and TV. Comfy large bed and lots of power sockets ( often an issue in hotels). Large shower which even has a panoramic view of the town! Spacious balcony overlooking town and sparkling sea. Delicious breakfasts on the terrace and evening tapas with gins and tonic in the cosy sitting/ dining room. Great 10m pool with loungers which get sun all day. The family ran a renowned restaurant in town so they know how to treat guests very well. You can just imagine Dali and his friends partying on the roof terrace ( which they apparently did!) .
