B&B HOTEL Castellón — Hotel in Castelló de la Plana

Very nice hotel, comfortable, cozy room, beautiful bathroom and exceptional customer service at the reception! We arrived there this Saturday 4th Nov after we were victim of a non existent accommodation on the Booking website. At the reception it was Fernando, the front desk employee, and we immediately felt really good and taken care of after such a stressful situation. He was very friendly, smiling and understanding in our situation and really made our day with such great customer service, we were truly grateful for him. He explained well about the services available at the lobby where free coffee (wide variety also decaf) available from professional coffee automata, unlimited juices included as well. Very nice colourful lobby as well, it made us happy just to be there and enjoy fantastic quality coffee and juice. For breakfast there was a fantastic buffet all you can eat for as low as 10.50 euros per person, different stations for cereals, jams, real orange juicer, breads and wide variety of cheeses, meat choices and other items that it's even hard to line up everything! We'll definitely return again! The location is perfect, just few minutes from Placa Mayor and Mercado, at the very center of Castellon la Plana. Even walking from the train station was a pleasant 25 minutes walk, which we enjoyed and stopped at certain shops for looking around. It's easy to get to and to get around the center, great value and very friendly, great service. Highly recommended! I was due to stay at this hotel from the 12-15th November but due to an out break of covid in the town of Castellon we cancelled our trip. We tried to cancel, not get our money back but simply reschedule our visit but as yet we had no definitive date to return and was likely to be in the Spring of 2022. Well they are not prepared to allow us the time to plan the next trip, no voucher nothing, Disappointed as the outbreak was in Castellon and we didn't want to take the risk.||||Looked like a great place but the service we have received has been awful at a time the world is gripped with covid some compassion would have been good, we will return to see Pablo but will not stay at this hotel and will ensure the hundreds who do travel in the spring will be advised not to stay here, maybe its because we are English...

Stayed here on 06 September 2022, Sat Nav guided us in no problem! We were met by a very welcoming and friendly, multi lingual, receptionist, who showed us where to park {€10) We booked in very easily and found our room{€67) which was classed as a " Superior Double! " Room was very clean and well appointed and the bathroom had good facilities! Plenty to do in the area, close proximity to bars, restaurants,banks and supermarket! Free Coffee ,tea! and chocolate available 24/7.We both enjoyed a quiet, good night's sleep. Breakfast ( buffet style) was available for small charge(or when booking online). We would definately stay again and have no hesitation in...
