Intelier Rosa — Hotel in Castelló de la Plana

When entering the hotel the lounge area and reception is lovely but as soon as you take the lift up to the corridor of the rooms and enter the room is like entering in the movie the shining and a horror scene is about to start. The rooms are so outdated that I haven't see rooms like these since the 90s in Bagdad. They need to renovate the rooms to stay in this century. They put dirty decorative pillows and bed runner in 2023, these are worst enemies for an asthmatic especially they are not used anymore in the world due to the fact is not hygienic as they don't wash them. They don't have any complimentary water in rooms nor they offer tea or coffee in rooms but a vending coffee machine at reception. The pool is the smallest I ever seen in a hotel or B&B yet they declare themselves 4 star hotel due to the small pool they have. They also have save environment card in bathroom but use plastic. Maybe they were 4 star 30 years ago. Checkin barely spoke to us and we spoke their native language Spanish. They don't even say hi to guest. Don't know what happened to Spain but their hospitality level is not even existent. We also found gum on the side cabinet. DISGUSTING! Update: they try to report my review as false and weren't able to as my review is real and haven't used any slur langauge. That's how their management...

First impressions are really good... the hotel foyer looks really smart and everything that you would expect from a 4* hotel. Staff were friendly and check in went well. Great location, not far from the centre and directly opposite a Mercadona if you want some snacks 😁

The rooms were of a good size and the beds were REALLY comfortable. Good pressure water in the shower and nice hot water.

The hotel was terrible with regards to soundproofing... I could hear all the voices next door (and they were talking at a normal volume) and I could hear them opening the wardrobe and drawers. The room was really hot and the windows were locked so they couldn't be opened. The toilet cistern lid was broken and the bath panel too. The rooms and bathrooms looked tired and not what I would expect...

They claim as a 4 star hotel but in my opinion it is below 3. Since I do not want to confuse any one I stayed there only for one night and I will try to give my opinion in few lines. Upon my arrival I got the feeling for a ghost hotel since except the receptionist I could not see anyone around. In the swimming pool there were 2 - 3 persons but its size found extremely small good for pictures. The hotel was clean but the whole amenities were very poor for instance the lights for push buttons in the elevator going to parking were not lighting. I can say many more but I understand in full summer season...
