A restaurant that I have been to many times... and was always welcome. However, this evening, I sat at an open table outside, and was greeted by a very rude waiter who asked me if I had a reservation. When I said "No, I don't" (I've never made a reservation here in the past) . He said "Get up, get out or move" while waving his hand in an rude and dismissive manner. A table of young guys - in their early 20's - even said to me: "Bro - that was rude. What's his problem?"
As a well dressed gentleman who is familiar with the town, restaurant dining procedures - this was unacceptable.
The food can be quite good - tonight was an off night, and I will reconsider going back, and certainly won't if that waiter is working. It's unfortunately not the first time I've had bad service there - but usually just chalk it up to an off day for the staff. But this experience has permanently damaged my view on...

Lo primero de todo he de decir que sin ton ni son el camarero mascachicles nos estuvo sacando pan tostado sin fin, amontonando incluso, plato sobre plato. Después en la cuenta final entendimos el porqué, 34€ de pan correoso para 1p personas, con Alliolli y tomate de bote. Nuestro preciado amigo Manolo, insistió en la calidad del pulpo a la brasa, por desgracia sufrimos la peor experiencia de pulpo de la historia, este molusco no vio la brasa en su miserable vida, eso sí, el microondas lo experimento varias veces y en varias posturas , todo un fiasco a 90€ el kilo de pulpo al microondas. Uno de nuestros acompañantes femenino, tuvo la brillante idea, de solicitar boquerones para compartir , una vez llegó plato a la mesa, nuestros sentidos de reconocimiento Merca donés, nos puso en antecedente una magnífica bolsa de congelado, el precio por respeto al lector, no lo voy a comentar, háganse a la idea. Por último y no menos decepcionante la llegada de los calamares a la huevina, todo un monumento y tributo a la auténtica fritura Santapolera, un desastre. Tenemos que decir a favor de este magnífico, atento y amable restaurante, que no tuvimos el placer de deleitar, nuestros paladares carne a la brasa , puesto que posiblemente hubiera sido otro tipo de experiencia. El vino y el licor final, cubrieron nuestras gastronómicas expectativas. The tostadas with aioli and tomato is delicious, not too oily and not too garlicky, i really liked that, salads are ok but only if you don't have any other possibility after that: we got salad with English bacalao which ended up being a chopped onion with chopped tomato, olives and some sprinkles of baccalà, super salty and not really enjoyable.
