Hotel Los Palacios — Hotel in Formentera del Segura

This is only a 2 star hotel so I wasn't expecting much. It's based above a BP petrol station and their staff take care of the checking in and out process. We did request a double room. Our room had two single beds as a twin room. Maybe all of the double bedded rooms (if any) were taken. The room was clean and the beds were ok. They could do with adding some more pillows to the room. We had our own bathroom with a small bathtub and shower attachment. There was a small TV with Spanish channels and radio. There was air con which was a bonus. There was also a small area to hang and store some clothes away. There is no room safe and also no tea/coffee making facilities. This didn't bother me as I don't drink either but it may bother some people. The bathrooms could do with some mats as I was scared of slipping over. There is a bar/cafeteria attached to the hotel too. ||Over the road, there are two shops to buy supplies from if you want drinks, snacks, groceries etc. One is called 'Mas y mas' and the other is 'Dia'. ||Overall, as somewhere to rest our heads and change, it was fine, as my partner and I were meeting up with some of his relatives who were staying nearby...

This restaurant on the roundabout at Los Palacios ( Formentera Del Segura ) was formally El Tayo ( Spanish ) but is now The Welcome Palace ( Indian ).The layout and décor hasn't changed much and there are 3 spacious Dining areas + outside if you wish and a large car park. The menu was extensive with all the usual suspects and from my 2 visits in June ( 2016 ), very good. The menu of the day was good value at 8.95 euro's and included : a drink ( wine, beer or soft ) , Poppadum and pickles ,choice of starter , any main course + rice or Nan , sweet and coffee ! Not bad. We stayed for 3 nights and the towels had not been changed.at all and we had to use wet towels. The room had not been cleaned in the 3 days that we stayed at this hotel. The toilet paper was from a dispenser and you couldn't use it without most of the paper going on the floor. The Air con didnt heat the room and there was only 1 blanket for 2 single beds . The bed only had sheets and a cover,without a duvet,so we were cold. We will not be returning or recommending this...
