We went for a celebration birthday champagne breakfast this morning.A bad experience! The table was too small couldn't even put the champagne bottle on to have a drink , some of the food was on the chair.So eventually we asked them to pack the food up as a take away. Very disappointed and not even a price reduction for this poor service. Will not be returning.
With regard to your reply You should be aware that the whole point of a review is so that the proprietor can see positive & negative reviews in the case of a negative review he or she should be able to make the necessary adjustments where needed to rectify the wrong. Obviously Differente cannot accept negative remarks. As a business owner myself if a client is not happy with the service I make every effort to put things right .It is called Good Will. We waited near the till at first as we wasn’t sure if you ordered at the counter then sat down. Staff walked passed & never asked us if we needed help. So we sat down, the staff went passed again nothing said. My husband went to the counter again the lady there said sit down someone will come. Read moreThe food is good but service not so much. Long waiting (30 mins) for just 2 easy egg dishes and 1 toastie. When asking about it, no understanding at all; 'we are busy'. But only 5 tables were taken, and none of them had outstanding food order. 'We had a takeaway order'. Right, that still doesn't mean tables should wait that long. Plus: toastie came with ham, but was ordered with just cheese. Easy solution: staff should notice food takes longer than expected, notify the guests, and offer a drink. That's what good service looks like.
