Thanks the gastrocasa for being such an amazing host. They have made our stay a pleasure in playa Gandia. |We had 2 dinners and they were absolutely superb. Agustin is an amazing host and even better chef, if this can be possible. The breakfast you can tailor to your taste everyday since you are sent a survey to complete everyday to state your choices and the breakfast time. If everyday is the same you don’t need to fill everyday but that’s on your hands. |Agustin is attentive, adds some guidance on what to visit around, either for beaches or restaurants. His mum, Roxana, really attentive too. Nice to have a conversation with or ask for anything during breakfast. She is also spotless in her attention to detail, apart of the decoration on their home. I really love the decoration throughout the house, in addition to the room. |We were in room Mar, the room has high standards amenities. Free internet in the room available with no problem. The rooms are cleaned everyday if you want to, spotless disinfected. The shower pressure was superb, the terrace with the lounge seats to have sun baths has amazing views. |Although the best place to do so it’s the swimming pool with the jacuzzi. The highlight for us, if we need to choose, was the honesty bar with the Picaeta Sibarita brand of beers and vermouth. We almost finished them all. We love them!!! |Definitely we will stay there if we are back to Gandia area! What can I say. This place is heaven. From the moment I booked, the communication was excellent. Agus suggested several very good restaurants and even went to the trouble of making reservations for me. The hotel itself is stunning. Set in a residential area but only 5 minutes to a large supermarket and 10 minutes to the beach, the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The ‘honesty bar’ is a great idea and allows you to keep drinks/snacks in your own lockable fridge. The bed was comfortable with a powerful shower, great AC and a flat screen tv (Netflix etc) The bed was made and towels changed every day although there was no bin in the room and the WiFi was a bit intermittent in my room, it was a lot better by the pool. I had breakfast 3 times which was super fresh and more than enough to get you started for the day. I only had dinner once but this was also delicious. The only thing I would like to make this experience even better is a pick up service. If you are coming from Valencia airport, you can either get a cab for 80-100 euros or get the train to Gandia which costs less than 15 euros but takes a bit longer. It’s actually a very simple journey but when I got to Gandia, I had to wait 45 minutes for a taxi. I think a pick-up or pre-booked taxi would be great to make the journey a little easier. WOW WOW WOW|This is a beautiful small boutique hotel with 5 rooms. We were warmly greeted by the owner Roxanna on our arrival and shown to our beautiful en-suite room SOL with balcony facing the beautiful swimming pool. Every element of this hotel has been finely crafted and the decor is neutral creating a very relaxed room. Then there is the outside pool area with loungers and towels a small honesty bar area creating s very relaxed area to swim or just take in the beautiful property..|Then we meet Augustine what a pleasure. He is responsible for the creation of this beautiful home from home into this beautiful hotel. He is the most amazing cook and his meals in the evening were some of the best meals we had the pleasure of eating whilst staying in the area. From the fabulous sea bass to the most delicious salads created from the best local produce which he shops daily for.
