Malaga Center Flat Holidays City Center — Hotel in Málaga

It was a very pleasant and easy-going communication with the management of the apartment from beginning to end. Our special requests regarding arrival and departure were nicely accommodated. Very smooth arrival - loved that check-in was made online in advance while entrance keys are provided by codes so do not need to make meetups with the manager or owner or search the spots where keys are located as it tends to happen in properties managed by other hosts. The apartment has a very good location, just 5 min walking distance from the Malaga Old Town and 7 min walking to the central street of the Old Town. It is newly renovated, light in colors, simple in design but very pleasant at the same time. The mattress was really good, right fit to have comfortable sleep. Liked the large warm blanket although missed pillows in smaller sizes and softer. Bed linen and towels were almost brand new which usually is the issue in many other properties. Large shelf space around the bathroom sink for make up is always highly valued for ladies and it was perfect here. Another bonus - very powerful water pressure and it was properly hot - usually, many other properties fail with this. A very nice touch was a small coffee machine. The bonus is a terrace on the top floor of the building designed as a common area for inhabitants of the house for some tea or wine evenings or simply soaking up the sun. By comparing many other apartments in Malaga - very good prices and quality options. Only minus if you visit during winter time - room temperature was too cool for us. Wish to have some heater.

What did you like about the property? Nothing.

What didn't you like about the property? This stay was an absolute disappointment. The apartment did not deliver at all what was promised online. The kitchen was a disaster – essential cooking utensils were missing, making it nearly impossible to prepare a proper meal. The beds were tiny and provided no comfort, so there was no question of getting a good night's sleep. The bathroom was far too small for 5 people and looked not really nice or as indicated on the pictures. Additionally, there were ridiculously few towels, which is unacceptable for the number of people specified. The toilet paper was the most cheap you could get and about one role. The balcony was ugly and smelled bad. And the biggest issue: The room was way too small for the number of people. We felt like we were packed into a sardine can! Overall, it was a cramped and unpleasant experience that I cannot recommend to anyone. A major disappointment – this is clearly misleading advertising!
