La Casa de Don Gabriel — Hotel in Santa Cruz de la Palma

The architecture is stunning, many things in this place are worth admiring, however we faced some discomforts during our stay. Window to our room cannot be fully closed, we believe it is opening to the property of the hotel, but still. The ventilation is not good, there is only one fan. Only contact that we had with our host in the case of small emergency was stressful because of the staffs behavior, the emergency was not in fact resolved because of their actions and we waited two hours. We didn’t actually stay here as our flight was canceled and I panicked and booked rooms here. Then, with very little sharing of information, the airline took us somewhere else telling us that was the best way to be rebooked. The website I booked through wouldn’t let me cancel for a refund and I struggled for a few hrs trying to do so…the hotel found a way for us to get a full refund making this unpleasant situation a bit better with human kindness ❤️ Anyone this nice deserves...

Muy tranquilo y con mucho encanto el edificio, la habitación para dos personas tenía un armario diminuto, 6 perchas, la ventana del siglo en el que se construyó, no abría, no sé podía ventilar, la habitación con humedades y desconchones, el cuarto de baño la ducha no tragaba y llegó el agua hasta la habitación, hubo que pedir un cambio y no nos lo hicieron estando el hotel vacío, la cama de 1.40, ponían café y galletas en una habitación, pero la única Mañana que fui a tomar algo no se habían repuesto y no había de nada, los toallones no se cambian y no se secan de lo húmedo que es todo, la ropa al llegar a Madrid como si la hubiera metido en una cueva, no se avisa que no hay servicio de habitaciones y nos quiso cobrar 20 euros más si nos cambiamos de habitación, habiendo pagado la tarifa de las mas altas, pagamos 82 euros y en ese momento estaba a 62 y nos quería cobrar 20 euros más, las condiciones de esa habitación no están para alquilar, el techo las vigas se veían con una capa de polvo que volvimos con uns tos, o bien por las humedades o oor el polvo. Teníamos pegado a nuestra hab la vivienda debía de ser de la dueña, con una persona tosiendo sin parar y recogiendo tazas o lavaplatos hasta las 2 de la...
