There were bed bugs. . . First, when we checked in the hotel in the afternoon there was no hot water, so we had to take cold showers. This gor fixed later in the evening. However, we woke up during the night from itching, and after turning on the light we saw multiple big bed bugs crawling on the bed, and most of them we saw were crawling up from below the mattress. We immediately told reception and they offered us the room next to ours which we refused, since contamination of bed bugs spreads fast, and these bed bugs for sure looked like they have been there for a while. We eneded up being all bitten, and we asked to spend the rest of the night downstairs in the lobby until the laundry services open in the morning, since we had to wash and dry all our clothes in order to prevent spreading. The manager was understanding, and we did end up getitng a refund for out nights stay, however, since we were on our El Camino de Santiago journey, staff tried to say that they might be from us since we are travelling, which was impossible since we did not have any issues with that before that, and the bed bugs were many, and really big in size, which means they are most probably nesting. Quite a bad experience in general. Would definitely not...

The hotel is a little outside the nicer areas and suffers from the noisy adjacent road most of the night. No air con makes the room stuffy unless you open the windows and listen to the noise. The car park is outrageously steep and on the point of being dangerous and therefore should be avoided at all costs. ||The guy who checked us in was brilliant, full of knowledge and advice and loads of pointers for consideration. The breakfast area is not clearly marked and there is a cafe type area as you exit the lift. We mistook this for the breakfast facility and were then verbally abused by a member of staff for stealing a croissant! The receptionist then piled in verbally, accused us of stealing and hit us with a bill for the uneaten breakfast! Rude beyond belief, the very worst experience overall during our 6 person 10 day trip to Spain and Portugal! You can do much better for you money than this...

I love this place and the staff, from the receptionist to the housekeeper.

Michelle and her team are professional and friendly.

My room was clean every day, and the bed and bathroom were cleaned properly.

This place has fridge so its really ideal to stay here for more than 2 nights.

Amenities They have soap and clean towels just bring conditioner Ask for hot water for your tea if needed. Would have been nicer if they also offered a hot water maker, but the fridge is good enough to keep my drinks, fresh OJ, and yogurt cold.

Close to the grocery store and next to a wash and dry place.

Wash and just picture from next door - very convinient.

Yes, ill stay here again. Thank you staff for making my stay here safe, clean and a wonderful experience.

Comment: Please repurpose these the very old towels. Dont dont allow ypur next guest to see those...

I've stayed in many different types of hotels, hostels, Albergues, in many countries. This is probably the worst value ever. The hotel is far away from where you want to be in Santiago. There aren't any real services available at the hotel - no workout, pool, etc. There isn't even air conditioning, the folks brought in a cheap dollar store fan. When you open the window, you get street noise and road noise. There isn't a sofa, no refrigerator, no coffee maker, nothing. There were two wood straight chairs available, kind of soiled. On the plus side, the bathroom was almost clean.
