Overall, I highly recommend this apartment—it was excellent in every way.
The location is very close to the Camino, making it easy to check in first and then visit the Cathedral. The neighborhood is quiet, with a small supermarket, bakeries, and various restaurants nearby. It’s also just a short walk to the airport bus stop, so transportation is extremely convenient.
We stayed in a duplex room on the second floor. There’s no elevator, so carrying large suitcases might be a bit challenging. The two bedrooms are upstairs, while the kitchen and dining area are downstairs. There’s a sitting area and a bathroom on each floor.
The kitchen is fully equipped, complete with a capsule coffee machine, dishwasher, and electric kettle. The host even provided milk, butter, jam, and other basics in the fridge. Every morning, they delivered fresh bread, which was more than enough for breakfast.
The apartment was spotless, with brand-new furniture and very comfortable beds. The bedrooms even had sinks, which made morning routines much easier when sharing with multiple people.
The laundry room is in the basement, with two washing machines and a dryer (the dryer requires payment). Alternatively, you can take a drying rack to your room to air-dry clothes.
The host was incredibly thoughtful, carefully explaining all the amenities and providing a map of the area upon arrival. Guests can also book a day trip to Muxia here, with a small discount available.
We had a wonderful two-night stay and rested very well. I’d definitely recommend this apartment to...
Read moreOverall, a phenomenal experience. Communication with the host was amazing - she explained everything quickly and clearly, and self check in was a breeze. She is often on site, super friendly and helpful, and her recommendations for restaurants were top level. The apartment itself was clean, modern and especially well-designed, and every morning, a cloth bag with fresh bread was quietly hung on our door for a tasty stress-free breakfast! The location of the building may seem at first a bit away from the city center - but in Santiago this is a plus! The neighborhood is relaxed and charming, becoming hip, with great new eateries and cafes. Plus, it's quiet with no crowds. It is an easy and enjoyable 10 - 15 minute walk to the Cathedral and city center. Very close by are both the Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea (contemporary art) and the Museo do Pobo Galego (Galician tradition and culture) which are highly recommended, as well as the interesting Park of San Domingo de Bonaval which was once a city cemetery. There are also luggage lockers on the lowest floor, and you can leave your bags here after check out until you're ready to leave for the train or airport. It seems everything was considered here, and we had zero problems or complaints. I highly recommend Seis Aldabas for any sort...

Liked · There was Coffee Machine (Nespresso type) but we wanted the Italian Expreso type that is used on the stove top, they supplied one on our request. Also, there was Hot water kettle, milk warmer, toaster, microwave oven, regular oven, small refrigerator (had inside 2 small cartons of milk, butter and marmalade) and small dish washer. Every morning at or about 0800 she would supply a round piece of bread per person for breakfast. Downstairs at the basement, there are 2 washer machines for you to use (free) and 1 drier (pay type) if you needed to wash clothes. Also, sewing kits, soap / softener the washer machine. Some baskets with species for all guest to use & share. We are absolutely delighted with these apartments. If you don not mind walking about 15 minutes to the Cathedral of Santiago, this is the quite place you are looking for, at least is where we are going next time we visit Santiago...
