I generally liked my 3-night stay at this hotel. I made my reservation directly through the hotel’s website, and it was very easy. This boutique hotel is not very big; if I remember correctly, it has only 17 rooms. I absolutely loved the hotel’s charming design, which incorporates teddy bears throughout. You can find them all over the hotel, from small to large ones. However, I must mention that the hotel’s overall condition is not great; some parts definitely need remodeling, and some furniture should be replaced soon.|The hotel staff was very nice. I got to know two front desk guys, and they were both extremely sweet, friendly, and helpful, giving me plenty of advice about what to do in Sitges.|I booked a Garden Room with Balcony. My room (#11) was on the second floor and faced the hotel’s small garden. A big plus was that there was no noise from the outside, even when I slept with the balcony door open. On top of that, my room received a good amount of natural daylight, which I personally liked because I cannot stay in dark hotel rooms. However, I have to mention that from the inside of the building, my room was not soundproof at all; I could clearly hear all the noises from the hallway and even from the first-floor reception area. This was probably due to the fact that my room was the first one on the floor and right next to the stairs. Every single morning, hallway noises woke me up multiple times, which was a big downside for me. I wish they would replace the room doors with stronger, soundproof ones. Otherwise, my room was big enough for just me; the design was simple but pretty, and most of the furniture was in good condition. The room had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. I absolutely loved having a little private patio with a sofa, a sun chair, and a small table; it was lovely to hang out outside. The Double Bed in my room was not very comfortable, to be honest. I especially hated the pillows - they were super hard and extremely uncomfortable. My neck hurt every single morning when I woke up, and I had a hard time falling asleep on them. The TV was small and outdated; it definitely needs to be replaced with a modern one. Having a refrigerator in my room was a plus. There was also a coffee maker and a small electric kettle, which I appreciated. The room also had air conditioning and a wall-mounted heating unit, which was great. The bathroom was a good size, but the shower stall could have been bigger, I did not feel comfortable showering in such a small space. However, the bathroom amenities were of very good quality, smelled nice, and had a cute teddy bear print on their tubes. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout my entire stay.|I found the hotel’s location very convenient. It is in the center of Sitges, right across the street from the main train station. There is also a big grocery store across the street. The heart of Sitges’ nightlife is easily walkable - only 4 minutes away. If you need to get to the beach, it’s just a 7-minute walk, super easy! I actually liked that the hotel is located on a pretty quiet street, away from the bars and clubs of Sitges’ nightlife.|For my three-night stay, I paid €255 in total (€85 per night). I found this deal mostly reasonable for the overall experience, but to be completely honest, I believe my room rate should have been a little lower.|I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sitges, especially solo travelers or small groups of friends. I would personally stay here again on my next visit to Sitges, but I would definitely request a room on a higher floor to avoid noise from the lobby and...

Read moreOur stay at hotel Liberty for 5 nights and in hindsight this is too long for this type of hotel. The hotel is perfect for a shorter stay. This of course isn’t the hotel’s fault, we deliberately choose a hotel in this price-range.
What we loved: -The very friendly staff; they are all polite, kind and willing to help with any question we had. One of the most friendly hotels we ever stayed at. The breakfast was very good; a variety of options to choose from. The garden was one of the reasons we choose this hotel and it was a very pleasant spot to enjoy breakfast or drinks. It is a small hotel so not too crowded and service is good and direct. You communicate with familiar faces. There is a small fridge, coffee and tea in the room. The high ceilings and balcony. Apple-tv with Netflix and other streaming channels. The option to borrow beach-towels and parasols. The location is perfect- everything is nearby.
What we didn’t like: The pillows. We don’t like the long pillows to share, rather have individual ones. You can get the pillows out of the sleeves so there’s 4 smaller pillows and 2 sleeves, but still not ideal to us. I read this in other reviews as well, please do something with this feedback because it will give a very different feeling: the bed-linens are a bit worn off and the towels are just too used. I am happy to use a towel of hotel quality multiple times but these towels are just too thin and worn and I didn’t like using those. The room is clean-ish, but not clean. There is dust on the desk, hairs and dust around the legs of the bed. This is also mentioned in some other reviews, please use this as constructive feedback in stead of reacting defensive :) The bathroom could use a renovation- more important than having modern services like Apple tv and Netflix- the current state of the bathroom probably make it feel less clean than it is, the ventilation system is too loud (and looks dusty) and the tiles look a bit scruffy because of age. Although the windows are double-glass, there was a lot of noise coming from the bar next door which kept us up much. We like to sleep with windows open which isn’t an option because of the loud talking, music and pool-table noises. Even with the balcony doors shut it was loud enough to keep us awake.
All the friendliness and the great breakfast in the nice garden makes up for most of this and keeping in mind they advertise as a two star hotel it balances out good, but I would happily rate 5 stars if some of the basic amenities like towels and sheets would be replaced.
All and all we enjoyed our stay and can recommend if you are planning on visiting Sitges for a night or 3.
There is no elevator, we knew this in advance. But if you are going to stay here for multiple nights and bring luggage: keep in mind that high ceilings mean long stairs as well!
Thank you for all your kindness and the pleasant stay,...
