Nestled atop the picturesque mountains of Mallorca, the high-end hotel bar offers a breathtaking setting that leaves an indelible mark on anyone lucky enough to visit. The unparalleled positives of this establishment lie in its awe-inspiring surroundings, while its only negative aspect is the occasional indifference of the staff.
The moment you ascend the winding roads leading to this secluded mountain oasis, you're greeted with panoramic vistas that steal your breath away. The backdrop of the Tramuntana Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, casts a mesmerizing spell over the entire experience. Whether you arrive during the day to bask in the warm Mediterranean sun or at twilight when the mountains are painted in hues of orange and pink, the scenery never fails to impress.
The hotel bar itself is a modern masterpiece of design, seamlessly blending with its natural surroundings. Large, floor-to-ceiling windows offer unobstructed views, while outdoor seating provides the perfect vantage point for a sunset cocktail. The selection of beverages is equally impressive, with a carefully curated wine list and a cocktail menu that combines traditional Spanish flavors with innovative twists.
While the surroundings are nothing short of exceptional, the staff's attitude can be inconsistent. On some visits, the service is impeccable, with knowledgeable servers offering recommendations and ensuring guests feel pampered. However, there are instances where an air of indifference creeps in, leaving patrons feeling neglected. This inconsistency in service quality can detract from the overall experience and is an aspect that the management should address promptly.
In terms of pricing, it's worth noting that this high-end establishment comes with high-end prices. The experience, though, is more than just a meal or a drink; it's a journey into nature's splendor, making it a worthwhile splurge for special occasions or when you're simply seeking a retreat from the bustling coastal areas of Mallorca.
In conclusion, the high-end hotel bar perched atop a Mallorcan mountain offers an extraordinary experience in an unparalleled natural setting. The views alone are worth the visit, and the well-crafted beverages complement the ambiance perfectly. However, the occasional indifference of the staff can leave a tarnish on an otherwise magnificent experience. If the service consistency improves, this mountaintop gem would undoubtedly be a must-visit destination for travelers seeking a taste of luxury amidst the beauty of...
Read moreThis place is absolutely stunning. I had done my fair research online and chose to stay in Valldemossa when my wife and I decided to visit Mallorca. Our stay at Hotel Valldemossa was beyond great from start to finish. We got greeted by Tim right when we got there and got to enjoy few tapas and drinks at their restaurant De Tokio a Lima, which by the way had great food - it is almost like the menu was tailored for the amazing view you get to enjoy while eating there. In addition, Adriana was the absolute best. She went thru all the amenities with us and always made sure we were happy. And I don't mean it in a way that was extravagant or exaggerated - she was there everytime we needed like she knew when we needed something - she just knew we needed something before we realized we even needed something. It is like she had a twin sister or something because she was at the front desk before we went to bed and was there the very next day early in the morning, I even had to ask her if she had gone home at all. We loved the private spa, which is by reservation and provided my wife and I a great time together. Getting in the indoor pool having our drinks delivered to us and jumping in the sauna just the two of us made the moment even more special. The hotel has a stunning view, waking up and having breakfast with that view is something you can't really put a price tag on. They also made sure to provide guidance and tips on any services, restaurants, excursions we were interested in. I ended up booking a half day boat ride with Toni Rigo per their referral (boat ride was wonderful by the way), and although I had a rental car to get to the marina, they ensured we would find the right spot to meet up and even offered to get us there on a transfer. I know for sure I am going back as soon as we get a chance. The town is also just 5 min walk away. My wife and I loved our stay, we have the outmost respect for the owners and the management, everything, from the little touches to the food, everything was thought out perfectly. Make sure to check out the other hotels in Mallorca own by the same group, we ended up staying at Hotel Calatrava on our last night in Mallorca, and we experienced the same level of hospitality as we had at Hotel Valldemossa. Bravo! We will be going back hopefully many times in...
Read moreHotel Valldemossa is five-star across the board. Chic spaces, attentive staff, and views that stop you in your tracks made this one of the most memorable stays I have ever had.||From the start, Gonzalo set the tone by meeting us at our car, walking us up the grand staircase, handing us welcome drinks, and guiding us through a map of the island. His tips on beaches, sights, and restaurants came with the insight of a Mallorca native who truly loves Valldemossa and takes pride in his role.||Our room was chic and comfortable, with dramatic lighting and a spa-like bathroom. From the porch we had sweeping views of farms, mountains, the monastery, and the church in Valldemossa. Day or night, the views were breathtaking; even from the shower, you could see the monastery.||The pool area was gorgeous, and the spa felt like a hidden sanctuary with a sauna, plunge pool, and private hourly use. I had a chance to talk with Nathaniel, one of the practitioners, about his approach to Chinese medicine, cupping, and other treatments. His expertise made it clear that next time I will set aside time for a session.||The staff made our stay special. Sara was warm and helpful, full of dining suggestions and reservations. Salim provided endless recommendations. Every night when we returned, the front desk team greeted us with genuine kindness and conversation.||Breakfast with mountain views, comfortable beds, and the intimate setting of only 12 rooms tied everything together. My only small suggestion would be an extra bedside outlet for phone charging.||Hotel Valldemossa is not just a hotel, it is an experience. I left already planning my return, this time for longer, to slow down and enjoy everything the hotel and the surrounding area...
