Hotel Review:
The room was decent but a bit overpriced. However, the experience was quite unusual.
The property has only two rooms and is still under maintenance. The entrance feels like walking through the back gate of an old restaurant. The rooms are managed by a person named Kirishan, whose behavior was eccentric, to say the least.
Here’s what happened: One night, I informed him I had to go out. Instead of simply leaving the door open, he insisted I call his wife (who wasn’t even on the property) to unlock the gate. Despite sleeping in the living room and being within earshot of his phone’s ringtone, he refused to open the door until his wife gave him the go-ahead. When I returned, I asked him to keep the door open for my late return, but he flatly refused and demanded I call his wife again, even if it was 1 a.m.
Additionally, I had requested an extension of my stay a day in advance. His wife assured me she would check with her colleagues (not him). However, at 10 a.m. on the day of checkout, I was told I had to leave by 11 a.m. because other guests were arriving, leaving me scrambling to adjust my plans.
Overall, while the room itself was okay, the management was frustrating and unprofessional. This experience made the stay far from...
Read moreThe rooms as it is are pretty good, however - the AC wasn’t functioning all that well and they refuse to acknowledge that. And people who wish to go out at nights be aware that this place locks the gates at 11 and then you have to go through a very awkward chain of command to get the gates to open. Which is calling up the guy’s wife. Honestly quite disappointed in the approach of the host. He does mention upon entry that he has a small speech problem so we were willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. But it was the rudeness that we couldn’t tolerate. They were all friendly at first but by the time we were checking out this is what happened: we paid them the amount and told them that sharp at 11, we will be checking out. This is the stipulated check out time and not even an extension. To that the owner looks at me and asks - “seriously?” In a very rude manner which completely threw us off. It’s almost like they just want you to come pay the money and check out as soon as possible. I’m telling you, on the day of check out, they’re not that friendly anymore.
If you’re reading this - please be more friendly to your guests. Please understand that each guest are entitled to their rooms till their check out time. That’s what they...
Read moreThe price was very reasonable, and the hotel managers were welcoming, respectful, and friendly. It truly felt homey, which I always appreciate wherever I go. Another huge plus was the 24/7 food availability from the restaurant below the hotel. The meals were affordable and delicious; in fact, I can say I had the best lunch and dinner I’ve had in a very long time.
The rooms and bathrooms were clean, felt newly renovated, and had sleek, comfortable arrangements. I also noticed some maintenance work being done on the balcony, showing their effort to keep things fresh. Initially, I was concerned about the railway right in front of the hotel, but it never bothered me or my wife we both had a great night’s sleep until around 9 AM without any disturbances.
Now, for the most wholesome part: when I checked out, I accidentally left my chain and pendant in the room. While I was already on my way, I received a call from (I assume) the owner informing me they had found my belongings and asking me to return to collect them. This honesty and care truly highlight their excellent service and commitment to customer satisfaction.
I’ll definitely book this place again when I...
