We stumbled across Hotel La Felicita as our original choice was full. The owner, his wife and family could not have being more friendly. The house with detached accommodation from the house is in an ideal position on a quiet road yet only 5 minutes walk to a beautiful beach. The room with air conditioning was extremely spacious and clean. Good sized bathroom and large walk in shower.|| Due to an early start to see the Whales we missed breakfast the first moring and on our second morning when we went for breakfast I thought we had 2 days worth of food. I doubt you will get a better breakfast, served on the family homes balcony, anywhere else in Mirissa.. Do not hesitate to go to book this hotel if you are planning a visit to Mirrisa. What a great place. The owner is a very friendly and very helpful man, really a nice guy. We were as a family of three, two adults and our 3 year old son and stayed in the little mud hut wich felt like sleeping in a Van Gogh painting. Al the other rooms alsof looked nice, clean and spacious. The food, especially breakfast, is the best you'll find. The owner always makes an effort to serve something different each day. At one time we were the only guests so the owner handed us the keys to the gate and the beautiful main building. He could go and sleep at home and we had everything to ourselves.
