The hotel business is a difficult business. Travelers are tired and entitled and easily frustrated by even the smallest overlooked detail. A missing washcloth, say. A roll of toilet paper installed backwards (gasp!). Or a shower faucet that runs too long before the water gets hot.
The staff at the Hotel Beau-Séjour are savvy and hardworking, and their expertise shows, from the lush, impeccably kempt floral arrangements that crown the entry, to the binder of resources for local attractions in your room. Everywhere you look, you'll find every detail has been seen to. No corner is dusty. Even some of the light fixture were outfitted with a smart ribbon.
Hotel Beau-Séjour was incredible. Easily a 4-star experience at the cost of a 3-star hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly and very attentive in providing what was the best breakfast we had for our whole trip to Europe.
Our room even had a small crib for our daughter! The rooms were warm and well outfitted with tasteful comforts and decorations. There was a common room with plenty of seating, great light and a warm atmosphere that makes the perfect curl-up space with a good book and a glass of wine, or some of the complimentary tea they offer in the evenings.
I have nothing critical to say about the Hotel Beau-Séjour. It was a lovely stay, in an incredible location in a beautiful hotel run by a staff that seems to have anticipated their guests every needs. My daughter really loved the surprise and was really touched by the "petit plus" on her 18th bday.
The atmosphere is peaceful, the decoration tasteful and typically "montagnes Suisse" 🥰, every detail has been well thought . The rooms 40 and 42 were spacious, the beds extremely comfortable. I loved lying on top of the fluffy duvet, felt like resting on a cloud !
The Spa is ...wooooow EVERYTHING you would expect is gathered in the "Nuage"! Wont tell more, guests have to discover it!....well maybe just tell you about my 1st experience in the tank :
The floating tank time was unbelievable, I had never tried it before. Floating in body temperatured salted water was so restful that it felt as if my mind had been put to sleep.
Of course I have to compliment again the chef and its tasty dishes.
