Hotel Restaurant Bellevue — Hotel in Flims

I was in Flims for an event and a room was booked for me for one night in this hotel. ||||The room was dark and terrible with the sink of the washroom just at the very entrance of the room outside of the washroom. The floor was covered with a dirty brown moquette and the curtains were yellowish-transparent looking so cheap. ||||Anyway I arrived in the evening and because I was alone and tired from my journey I asked in the restaurant if I could have a toast or something small to possibly take away. I was immediately taken out of the restaurant and was asked in a rude way if I was a guest in the first place (which was definitely NOT a requirement to eat in the restaurant - so why asking - anyway I was) and was told they had nothing for me there and all I could have was a sandwich with cheese or salami and I had to order it at the reception. So I asked if I could eat there instead of opting for a take-away solution: they told me that they were fully booked when 90% of the tables were absolutely free and she repeated that all I could have was a sandwich.||||So I said I would have rather looked somewhere else and she replied that I could have gone anywhere but I wouldn't have found any place around here to eat (haha): Of course I went to another restaurant who was fully booked FOR REAL and the personnel still managed to find me a seat and served me really quickly. when I came back from this restaurant, the restaurant at the hotel was still empty.....||||Next time I would rather sleep in the snow or book myself in a batter place. There are so many hotels in Flims and in this beautiful region - please look elsewhere and...

Location : 7 mins walk from Flims Dorf, Bergbahnen Bus stop, Coop Supermarkt Flims Stenna and importantly, the Ski lift. There is a Sports rental shop just opposite the Hotel for those who need to rent some sports equipment.||||Service : Greeted by the sweet lady owner Marianne when we arrived. They have being very responsive to our inquiry before our arrival. Room is serviced daily. Breakfast selection is pretty standard. A pity there is not hot meal available.||||Room: As we were there during the low season, we were assigned with the Family room and very grateful to their kind gesture. Room is with view of the mountain and room size is great with a small seating area. Cleanliness of the room is great. Things which we wish to have is a bigger TV as the room is huge.||And also a coffee machine which will be able to supply hot water as well will make things perfect.||||Others: Storage room for ski gears is just opposite the hotel and a nice boots warmer room which others have mentioned as well.||||And lastly, do have a try at their restaurant. Licht und Schatten Wir sind zurück aus einer Woche Skiferien im Hotel Bellevue. Wir hatten in der ersten Märzwoche 2025 ein Standard-Zimmer mit Halbpension gebucht.

Positiv: Lage fussläufig zu den Luftseilbahnstationen sämtliches Personal ist sehr freundlich hervorragende Küche, alles was es gab, schmeckte ausgezeichnet Zimmergrösse und schöne Aussicht in die Berge gute Dusche (ist heute leider auch nicht mehr selbstverständlich)

Negativ: Leider war der zuständige Mitarbeiter beim Checkout so von seinem Hotel überzeugt, dass er uns nicht wirklich fragte, ob es uns gefallen hat. Schade, Chance verpasst. Schlafkomfort durch Trittschall im Stockwerk darüber eingeschränkt (die Daten meiner Smartwatch sind diesbezüglich unbestechlich) langsames W-LAN unsorgfältiger Zimmerservice: Von Anfang an funktionierte meine Nachttischleuchte nicht - Reklamation bei Reception, wurde ich gefragt, was denn das Problem damit sei (keine Ahnung, muss ich das selbst untersuchen!?), unsere Trinkgläser mussten wir immer selbst spülen, wurden nicht ausgewechselt, und auch dass das Shampoo in der Dusche zu Neige ging, mussten wir bei der Reception reklamieren. Seufz Von einem Schweizer Mittelklasse-Hotel erwarte ich das. Auf ein Trinkgeld haben wir (erstmals seit Jahren) verzichtet. Lachs und frische Eierspeisen zum Frühstück gibt es nur am Sonntag. Und dann auch nicht alles, sondern nur Spiegelei oder 3/4/5-Minuten-Eier. Haben wir so auch noch nie erlebt und wirkt knausrig.

Für diese Leistungen haben wir etwas über CHF 300.-- pro Tag bezahlt. War es das wert? Wenn wir mit unserem letztjährigen Hotel in Zermatt vergleichen, nein, der Preis für das Gebotene ist deutlich zu hoch. Restaurant topp, Hotel flopp.

Zur Antwort von Herr Ammon:

Die Gläser wiesen keine trinkbaren Reste auf, lediglich Spuren von Bier. Das ist eine Schutzbehauptung.

Den Preis von 107.-- pro Person hätten wir gerne akzeptiert. Ist aber geschönt, da der Preis nur für das billigste Zimmer ohne Aussicht (sog. Budget-Zimmer) und auch ohne Halbpension gilt.

Zum Vergleich: Skiferien 2024 im Hotel Bristol, Zermatt-Zentrum (gegenüber Max Julen Restaurant, wem das was sagt), Zimmer mit direktem Blick auf das Matterhorn, schöne Sauna-Anlage inbegriffen, inklusive Abhol- und Bringservice zum Bahnhof, Zimmer-Frühstück mit frischen Eierspeisen, die man sich selbst machen konnte (!) für CHF 1'800.-- die Woche. Und dort konnten wir hervorragend schlafen!

2026 bereits gebucht: Hotel Nolda St. Moritz-Bad, 150 Meter neben der Signalbahn, Sauna im Partnerhotel nebenan inbegriffen, 6 Nächte im Standard-Zimmer/Frühstück inkl. Parkplatz für CHF 1'500.--, vergünstigte Skitickets Oberengadin für 47.-- pro Tag und Person.

Flims ist weder Zermatt noch St. Moritz,...
