Worth the long review since it’s the least I can do for the outstanding experience!
Stayed at LeCrans in February 2024 half term ski week. Hands down one of THE best hotel experiences we have ever had. We are generally after hotels which balance size (i.e., exclusive, providing tailored and personal service) with amenities. LeCrans nails it on both fronts
When we asked for our fireplace to be lit, we had someone at our door in barely two minutes clutching a pile of wood. When dropping us off at restaurants, the chauffeur would walk us to the restaurant, open the door and wait for us to be greeted by the host/ hostess before heading back. When getting picked up from the slopes after a day’s skiing, the eagle-eyed chauffeur would walk up the exit of the ski lift to carry our equipment down to the shuttle. We felt totally spoiled
Surprised us with treats - not just any treats, but they had clearly observed our preferences during the trip which made it feel a lot more more personal and tailored - freshly baked biscuits, candies, bottle of bubbly, and board games for our 11 year old son.
I have very rarely experienced this level of attentiveness, all delivered without being intrusive or overbearing
Special shoutout to Steffan, Ryan, Rennan who ferried us every day and looked after our every need, concierge Giovanna who made sure we had all our restaurants pre-booked on the slopes and for dinner, and Jeremy who looked after our son at breakfast
We stayed in a Junior Suite. Beautiful decor with very high ceilings, tasteful wood panelling, and a fireplace. Panoramic view of the mountains. Large bathroom. Very well maintained with all the modern amenities
Having an on-site Michelin starred restaurant is generally a harbinger of the service you can expect at the hotel. Restaurant LeMontBlanc was an absolute treat, lovely wine selection, excellent service and food and a must do for at least 1-2 nights of the stay
The spa was amazing, far exceeded expectations given the boutique nature of the hotel. With only 13 rooms, despite being fully booked, there were no more than 2-3 people visible at the pool whenever we were there. Modern and very well maintained indoor pool and jacuzzi, outdoor heated pool with beautiful views, fully kitted out gym, and steam and sauna. The spa staff were lovely and quite a few available for spa treatments
Of course, given the more secluded location, you can’t just stroll out to a bar or restaurant. But they make up for this with the prompt and accessible personal shuttle (pretty much everywhere is a 7-10 min drive). After a long day of skiing / Après ski, we were fine to head back to the hotel to freshen up before heading out to dinner via shuttle
We would 100% stay again. If you’re looking for a super exclusive, high-quality, and pampered experience in a beautiful hotel and setting, this is the place to stay.
Not cheap by any measure, but a holiday where you come away comforted that you got your money’s worth and a...
Read moreSadly this hotel had become a total disgrace. The Service is not existent anymore. Unfriendly. Unprofessional Staff! No basic services at the hotel reception , not at the Spa, not at the restaurants. The management is totally failing this hotel that used to be wonderful. Not anymore. Imagine - a hotel and Spa reception where people don’t Speak English! Where you cannot make a Spa or restaurant basic reservation because you cannot communicate with the staff! Le Crans Hotel has become a disgrace. Dear Mrs. Destouches, thank you for your answer . Unfortunately you were never available when I asked for you. Your information are incorrect we have stayed with you since 2015 on different occasions: Otherwise I wouldn’t be capable to see the difference in your services Maybe is time you call your own staff and try to speak english with them so that you will find out finally who really does speak english. It is the hotel financial loss if we cannot book a treatment at the Spa, communicate with the reception, or have menu information at the restaurant what has been the case on our visit. I wish you would take as much time to train your staff as you take to answer our comments so that we come back to a 5 star hotel...
Read moreA Gem in the Alps – A Stay Worth Writing Home About||Where does one even begin? LeCrans is, quite simply, a slice of heaven perched high in the Swiss Alps. From the moment we arrived, we were treated not just as guests but as old friends, returning to a home we never knew we had.||Ryan—charming fellow, impeccable manners—welcomed us with the sort of warmth that makes you feel instantly at ease. Capucine and Ophélie, two absolute marvels, ensured that not a hair was out of place during our stay, while Renan and Diego added their own brand of polished hospitality, leaving us thoroughly spoiled.||The views? Simply amazing! Snow-dusted peaks, rolling clouds, and sunsets that would make even the most hardened cynic weep. The spa, I must say, is a masterpiece of indulgence—so relaxing, I feared I might never leave. And the food? A symphony of flavors that danced about the palate.||LeCrans isn’t merely a hotel, dear reader; it’s a triumph. A place where service, scenery, and savoir-faire collide in glorious harmony. Bravo to the team. And yes, we’ll be back. One can’t resist such...
