We have stayed at Hotel Seraina's 2 1/2 room appartement (north) for one week. The hotel has a lovely Engadin feel, with a pleasant wooden interior and many typical decorations. Lovely place, very quiet, good sleep. Enough space. The closet is in fact a space under the roof, our children loved it. Nice bathroom with free toiletries. To get to this appartment, you may use the lift but after that you still have to walk through the corridors and use the stairs (we didn't mind it, the corridors are so lovely decorated so I have enjoyed it every time).||||When staying at Seraina, you get a guest card which makes it possible to travel through Engadin for free (including all the cable cars, bus and train). We have used it every day, saving a lot of money. There is a bus stop just a minute from the hotel and changing to train at St. Moritz only takes two or three minutes, very efficient. A supermarket is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. ||||The hotel has a private subterranean parking garage with an entrance on the other side of the street which is a private part of a larger garage. Tip: don't forget your flash light, the garage light switches off automatically and in the private part there are apparently no sensors so you can easily find yourself in a complete darkness.||||When leaving, we have got two little walnut tarts...

Read moreTogether with my boyfriend, we stayed at the hotel Seraina, the rooms are absolutely charming and the receptionist very kind. There is a relaxing wellness but it is surprisingly only open 3h30 end of day so not at all fortunate if you are coming on a weekend and need to hit the road on Sunday afternoon… The food at the restaurant is good but very expensive for what you get. We do not recommend the Rösti as you only get additional 3 pieces of mushrooms and almost invisible bacon for 25 francs… We as well recommend to make the booking through the hotel directly and not through any external party (about 100 extra franc per night if you do so). Furthermore, you are also not aware of the great possible offers such as the ski day for only 45 francs if you buy it from the hotel, compared to 110 francs at the ski station….
Overally satisfied but it would have been better to receive a full communication to plan ahead our trip...
