Delicious food and excellent position. Can eat outdoors next to the river or inside in a beautiful setting. Waiters are very attentive and speak Swiss, Italian and English. I had the best salad of my life here, and the waiter even asked for extra tomatoes for me (the italian waiter was soo nice). The rest of our guests ate wonderful soups with crispy, fresh, warm breadrolls. Very well done. You feel quality when you see it and that's why it wasn't cheap, but it wasn't too...

Despite the challenge of navigating numerous stairs, I must commend the hotel for its excellence. The rooms are notably spacious, immaculately clean, and bright, boasting beautiful views. The breakfast was very good, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. Additionally, the staff’s friendliness and helpfulness greatly enhanced my experience. Nun wo soll ich anfangen; An einem verschlafenen Samstag Nachmittag kam ich an diesem unscheinbaren Restaurant vorbei, getrieben von Hunger und Durst, ließ ich mich in dem eher schlicht wirkenden Biergarten nieder. Zügig wurde ich von dem überaus freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Service empfangen und bedient. Ich bestellte die Hirschplätzchen auf Polenta Taragna mit Rahmwirsing und Preiselbeerjus. Mutig wie ich finde denn, mein persönliches Motto war stets:" Das Leben ist zu kurz um Polenta zu essen". Schnell wurde ich vom Gegenteil überzeugt ich bekam ein hervorragend gebratenes Hirsch "plätzli" auf einer fluffig cremigen Polenta serviert abgerundet mit einer soße die mir Wort wörtlich:" die Schuhe auszog".

Zusammengefasst war dieser Aufenthalt ein absoluter Erfolg.
