Select no others than this!!You will not regret it. For they have the amazing view of the mountains from their balcony, and a great access even for the disabled. The room i stayed were located at the ground floor, thus they have wheelchair accessible spaces and even a sitting area for the shower which i think is a lovely touch to either elderly or disabled.Cleanliness is top notch and breakfast is great with variety. Pick the window seat like the lovely lady at the restaurant suggested us to as we are the first to arrive for breakfast every morning 😆If you come during the winter, the room have direct access to the snow outside (check out my new outdoor fridge 🙈) and the bathroom floor is well heated for you too. My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights, and it was a comfortable and pleasant experience. The location is incredibly convenient, right beside Täsch train station—just a 1 min walk away, making it easy to travel to Zermatt.

We were lucky to have a corner room facing the road rather than the train tracks, so noise wasn’t an issue. The room was clean and cozy, perfect for a short stay.

The breakfast was basic but still hearty. The hotel staff were courteous. The only downside was the bathroom layout; the sink and shower area felt a bit cramped.

One of my favourite parts was relaxing on the balcony in the evenings, where we could unwind, enjoy our meals and wine, and people-watch. Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting...

Hotel Taescherhof is located right next to the train station. From Tasch Train Station, you can hop on a 12-minute shuttle train to Zermatt. The shuttle train operates every 20 minutes during day time and runs till at least 10pm. Our hotel room has a balcony facing the train track but there was minimum noise when the train passing by. The hotel is very clean and the room is way over 300 sq ft with a balcony. I enjoyed their breakfast and the 3-minute walk to board the train.
