What we liked:|- It is in a quiet neighborhood “off the beaten path” near a pebble beach with a handful of restaurants\cafes.|- It is also near Taiwan’s Air Force Base and so fighter jets were flying out over the ocean early in the morning which was fun to see|- The staff are friendly and helpful |- Comfortable bed and comfortable sofa|- There was a convenient place to park our rented motorbike|- Decent breakfast||What we didn’t like:||* Almost nonexistent Wi-Fi. (We asked if it could be fixed and it was but only worked for about 15 minutes. We could only access WhatsApp for the majority of our stay)||- Our room was on the 2nd floor and the view of the ocean was partially blocked by the building in front of us. It does not seem that the rooms on the 3rd and 4th floor would have this problem.|- When we arrived at about 7:30PM there was no one to greet us and the front door was locked. After knocking for a while, we learned from a neighbor the staff was across the street in another hotel. Apparently, that also belongs to them and that’s where the front desk is. Very easy after we figured it out but a little disconcerting not knowing beforehand.|- There are no chairs on the balcony to sit and watch the ocean.||Things to note:|- You cannot pay with a credit card at this B&B. You must pay in cash. The website we booked through did not mention this.|- There is no clothes iron in the room though they do have a hairdryer and a mini fridge.|- Interestingly enough, they also had no toilet paper, only tissues.|- They only gave two thin bath towels and no hand towels...

Read moreThe room is spacious, good bath room and has an amazing view of the ocean. Check in had to be done in a building further down the road. If you wish a good view of the ocean, make sure you ask for this during booking. If not you might have a room without view. Quiet area with a super market close. A negative point is the bed, which is small for a western guy like myself and there is no way to keep all sun light out of the room which means the room starts to become bright when the sun rises around 5 in the morning. The blinders work badly. Also no lift in case you have trouble walking stairs...
