Ahadi Lodge — Hotel in Arusha

We can recommend Ahadi Lodge to 100% - it was our favorite accommodation during the entire trip. We stayed a bit longer than usual (4 nights in total) as we arrived earlier than initially planned. It was a wonderful starting point and gave us the time to acclimatize. As most people are on Safari during the day, we had the whole accommodation to ourselfes. The personnel was always friendly and working quietly (you never heard anyone getting loud). Should be noted that in the neighborhood there is a church and a school, which means that we heard a lot of singing during the day. We found it lovely and didn't feel disturbed by it. The garden was very well taken care of and the pool has been cleaned every morning. The food was very delicious (although selection at the breakfast was rather limited). A rather interesting place, I was only here for a night. The road leading up to the lodge is quite misleading, but that belies how well the lodge is setup. I was very impressed with the quaint setting, but more impressing is that this lodge is made special by the staff especially a certain Monica who is an awesome and very helpful person. The chefs meals were equally quite tasty and the tea was offered in good measure at no extra cost. There is a good reason why this place comes highly recommended and I second the recommendations. Of course there are a few quibbles here and there, but the net effect is that this is an awesome and affordable place to setup in Arusha. Nicest place in Arusha with a really lovely staff. Always a smile for u so that u feel very welcomed and comfortable. IGOR (the head) organized almost everything for us - the best safari ever with a perfect car and a safari-known driver (ask for Richard). The visit of the „bushmen“ was so exciting- do that! Igor also organized the airport transfer and the stay in Zanzibar. The rooms are almost the cleanest ever and comfortable. WIFI everywhere. P E R F E C T S T A Y.
