We were pleasantly surprised by how lovely and clean the hotel was. We were met with smiles and enthusiasm upon checking in. The room was smaller than expected but still very nice and very clean and with a nice view. We requested to be moved to the next room as it had a nicer view and they made that happen for us. We made a number of requests on our first night and the hotel met each and every one of them. The food in the restaurant is delicious and breakfast is also very good. They have a complimentary shuttle which is nice and a nice and clean gym. It also has a nice beach but it’s not your typical beachfront property- if you’re expecting to roll out of bed and be able to relax on the beach and swim in the water this isn’t the place. They even warn you that swimming at their beach is at your own risk as there is a lot of coral, sea urchins and jelly fish etc… However, this isn’t something that would discourage me from staying here, it’s a lovely hotel. There’s lots of restaurants and shops nearby that the complimentary shuttle can take you to. We moved into a new room 24 hours after checking in and this is when things started going downhill… there was no hot water and when we we asked for assistance, we were given condescending lectures about how to work a faucet, 48 hours went by and still no hot water… I would also highly recommend that further training be given in regards to professionalism and guest service, as a few of the staff were extremely disrespectful to us on a number of occasions and even overly familiar- but perhaps this is because we are African women. This shouldn’t be the case as we are paying guests and should be afforded the same respect and professionalism as any guest staying at the hotel. It’s a nice a hotel but guest relations could definitely be improved on. It should be noted that Maureen, Lulu and Said are very nice, and should we recognized for their professionalism and excellent guest service. We are here for 3 more days so let’s see...

Read moreI recently stayed at Coral Beach Hotel, and I was left thoroughly disappointed. The entire experience was far from the luxury I was expecting.
First off, the room was outdated and didn’t match the pictures on the website. The furniture looked old and worn out, and the cleanliness was questionable. There were stains on the carpet and the bathroom had a persistent unpleasant odor. To make matters worse, the air conditioning was not working properly, making the room uncomfortable, especially at night.
The staff was not helpful either. While they were polite, they didn’t seem genuinely concerned when I brought up the issues I was having. I requested a room change because of the air conditioning problem, and nothing was done about it.
The food at the restaurant was subpar, with very limited options. It felt more like a cheap buffet than a dining experience you’d expect from a so-called "premium" hotel.
The pool area was overcrowded and not well-maintained. The lounge chairs were old and uncomfortable, and the pool water seemed cloudy.
The location was one of the few positives, but it wasn’t enough to make up for the overall poor quality of the stay. I definitely will not be returning, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing or enjoyable vacation.
Very disappointed and a complete...
