The location of the property is 400 m from the location show on booking or google maps as shown on the attached screen shoot from the GPS, the surrounding streets are not paved at all, and full of ups & downs, the hotel located in an area full of building materials shops, and workshops, a lot of noise especially from the aluminum workshop that starts at the early morning, and by 8.00 pm - after the shops closed - the whole area is dark, no lamp post. The breakfast mainly based on Tanzania/African food, and very limited and can't represent four(4) stars hotel, the hotel provide only one smart card to access the room, even though it is double room, in two nights out of four there were cockroaches on the floor, not safe to take a shower, where no bathtub or shower tray, no shower gel or shampoo, no Wifi in the reception ( password for your floor only) and sometimes not working, do not accept credit card (Four stars hotel !!!!!).|The staff are friendly, especially Innocent ( the Hotel's manager ) & Shabaan ( the security guy), the passion fruit juice at the breakfast, the bed sheets changed every day, the air...
Read moreWe were well taken care of by the reception staff who were pleasant and helpful. They made me feel welcome. But they do not cater for people who are vegans or vegetarian. Two kitchen staff, a gentleman and a lady tried their best to make up for the lack of it by adding more vegetables to my breakfast but they all spoilt it on my last day when they all sat down and were laughing at me while I was eating my food. They made me feel very uncomfortable as they called their friends to look at me. I vow never to go back to that hotel again..I will find somewhere else when I visit Tanzania again because I love the country and the people I visited. Read moreWe stayed here for 2 nights after arrival in Dar es Salem. prior to the commencement of our Safari tour.||rooms are comfortable with queen size bed which was very good for sleeping. Rooms had a writing table, chair and 2 lounge type chairs. Curtains in the room need repair were torn at the ends and did not fit the window well. Light entered the room at daybreak. Bathroom was ok but when you had a shower everything gets wet. Towels were very good.||Breakfast and meals were on the first floor. It was a buffet type.fresh fruit, fruit juice.
