MITI Beach Bungalows — Hotel in Unguja

We enjoyed our stay in MITI bungalows very much.

On arrival we received a Welcome Drink (fresh mango juice). The rooms are very nice and the owner as well as the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional and the best on our whole Sansibar journey (we have stayed in 5 different hotels). It is prepared very freshly and tasty (different fruits, very nice toasted bread and choice between omlette, scrambled eggs, fried egg and pankakes. You also get a glas of fresh juice as well as coffee and tee. The rooms are getting renovated at the moment (June 2022). The renovated rooms are amazing. We stayed in one of the rooms which haven't been renovated yet. It is also planned to build a pool (not really necessary in my opinion, I prefer the garden but that is just my preference). The property is guarded. We felt safe at any time. The beach is nearby, only 2 to 3 minutes walking distance.

Every other night it was quite loud outside because of the Discothek Coccobello. The owner of Miti said that this Disco will move to another location soon so therefore the noisy nights will be gone.

We would like to suggest some potential little improvements. it would be nice to have shower gel/shampoo in the bathroom. At the moment only (hand) soup is provided. more storage space would be appreciated a fridge in the room would be nice to have (not really necessary though)

Our stay at MITI bungalows was simply dreamy. The accommodation is very cozy, beautiful and always clean. We have stayed for 7 nights and eventually asked for late check out as our flight was scheduled for late evening. Everyone was very helpful and extremely kind. There was simply nothing to complain about. This place made our stay very pleasant. Manager of the property was very willing to help with anything (scooter rental, tips on where to go, money withdrawals). The staff served us delicious and very rich breakfast (fresh juice, plate of fruit, bread and breakfast of individual choice) everyday right at the terrace of our bungalow. The meals were so amazing that we even decided to dine there most of the days. We have also been lucky that this year the pool was built which was very convenient during warm evenings to just chill and enjoy the ambience outside our room. We couldn’t have picked a better place. Also the location was very convenient and very close to the most beautiful beaches in Nungwi. Always smiley staff and also Maasai guards were very nice company to us and we really enjoyed spending time with them. Some might find disturbing the parties in the Cocobello bar right in front of the bungalows, but for us it wasn’t such a big deal and taking in account the services received, it is not something that would...

Tramite Booking ho prenotato 5 notti a novembre dal 24 al 29 prenotando un boungalow per due persone con colazione al prezzo di 405$. E' situato a Nungwi e non è direttamente sulla spiaggia ma dietro il Veraclub Sunset e il Coccobello ma attraversata la strada, bisogna percorrere a piedi una stradina sterrata che conduce direttamente alla spiaggia passando tra le bancarelle dei masai, il tutto in 5/10 min di camminata. Che dire? Assolutamente perfetto. Una sistemazione che ci è piaciuta molto fin da subito con l'accoglienza del proprietario che ci ha offerto un cocktail di benvenuto e spiegato alcune cose base del soggiorno. Ci è stato assegnato il boungalow 5. La camere sono posizionate a raggiera rispetto alla reception/bar/ristorante a blocchi di tre e a al centro la piscina nuovissima molto bella e curata e ben tenuta giornalmente, con attorno qualche sdraio e ombrelloni sull'erba verde. La camera molto bella e curata con patio di ingresso con tavolino e due sedie dove si può consumare la colazione e i pasti del giorno, stendino molto utile. All'interno un bel letto in muratura con zanzariera sopra comoda da aprire e sistemare, una grande vetrata che guarda sul portico con tende sia leggere che oscuranti, a/c e ventilatore a soffitto, armadio aperto in muratura con cassaforte comoda, divano in muratura con spazio vuoto sotto molto comodo per riporre le valigie, frigorifero e bottiglia d'acqua data solo il giorno di arrivo (sarebbe bello averla giornalmente per l'intero soggiorno), teli per la sdraio, bollitore per the/caffè, torcia e spray per zanzare. Il bagno con finestra con zanzariera, wc, lavabo con mensola sotto, phon, asciugamani, doccia ampia (servirebbero degli appendini in bagno magari dietro la porta). L'unico difetto riscontrato la grande umidità che si avverte in camera anche se quando siamo arrivati era tutta profumata ma la sera si sentiva in modo molto forte, servirebbe una ventola che aspiri dal bagno perchè anche i vestiti si impregnano di questo odore. Il personale è molto disponibile e gentile, ti senti davvero in un piccolo paradiso rispetto al caos della spiaggia. Anche la musica del Coccobello sinceramente noi non abbiamo avvertito nessun disagio. A colazione si può scegliere in base a un menù ma sostanzialmente c'è sempre un succo di frutta fresco, pane e marmellata, due dolcetti e poi a scelta pancake, uova e wrap chapati con verdure, il tutto curato nel minimo dettaglio. A parte una sera le restanti sere siamo stati qui a cena visto anche la difficoltà di camminare per le strade piene di fango e pozzanghere di acqua al buio, comodi sul patio della nostra camera una vera pacchia. Menù abbastanza vario e abbiamo provato diversi piatti con prezzi in linea ai ristoranti di Nungwi, spendendo una media di 21$/26$. Posto molto tranquillo e adatto per il relax. Davvero un'ottima scelta a un prezzo onesto e sicuramente se torneremo a Nungwi sarà la nostra scelta. Complimenti a tutti quelli che...
