If you want to taste excellent Swahili food, it's probably the best restaurant for this. Try seafood in coconut sauce, it's majestic (it's in the photo), I've never tasted anything like this here in Zanzibar. Soups and bbq are very nice too, purée vegetable soup is very tasty. The pizza is not that great, but it's not their speciality, it was ok. Local beers are good and reasonably priced, bit they didn't have any hard liquor, which was a little let down. I love eating here. The food is clean and tasty. The menu is not in dollars (thank you) however the prices still reflect the tourist area, but in line with everywhere else. The traditional Ugali here is amazing, with the fish being so tasty. I’ve tried twice to have the chocolate brownie dessert and been brought dry cake.
