Silenafood Bistro — Restaurant in Chalong

The flavor of the honey cake we ordered was great but god the design / birthday message piping was so ugly I almost cried (no exaggeration at all). Had to buy another cake elsewhere to make up for how ugly this cake was to celebrate my 30th birthday. They originally had the words without spacing at all. I think that attending a cake design class would do wonders as the flavor really is good but looks like children’s piping / low effort cake for the price.

Aside from the cake, the Thai cashier lady has some of the nastiest attitude when dealing with customers, unapologetic and insincere. I was going to buy more of their baked goods but she angered me so much I decided just to leave. No compassion or patience at all as I explain how sad I was to celebrate my 30th birthday with such an ugly cake. Ended up buying an off the shelf cake elsewhere to celebrate / make it look better than...

The food was not very good. The prices are too expensive and the blond lady owner seems very rude. Maybe a cultural thing? But we cannot suggest this establishment and there are plenty of other Russian food options now in Phuket. We're not Russian but we live nearby and thought we would give it a try but we should have read the reviews first. Many saying exactly how we felt.

To clarify, we were there about a month ago and watched you interact rudely with others then shortly afterwards drive off in a blue BMW. Sound familiar? We even asked the staff who you were and they said you were the owner.

Cakes are good enough. Prices are decent. Original recipes. Thai staff is very nice, smiling and welcoming all the way. Thumbs up. I could recommend dropping by. That said, the Russian owner though, needs some lessons of civism and should learn how to greet customers so that they might feel like they want to come back. No hi, no good bye, no smile.
