I have to say, it’s rare for me to have such a thoroughly disappointing experience at a café, but No39 managed to deliver just that. From the moment you walk in, no one greets you, no one smiles, and the staff barely acknowledge your existence – the atmosphere is cold and unwelcoming, as if your presence is a bother. And things only go downhill from there. The moment you step inside, you’re immediately pushed to order at the counter – there’s no opportunity to sit down, take a moment, or look at the menu comfortably. They don’t bring the menu to your table, they don’t give you time to decide, and instead you’re forced to make a quick decision while a line of people builds up behind you, creating this tense, rushed environment that feels anything but pleasant. The ordering area is tiny, cramped, and poorly designed, which only adds to the sense of anxiety and disorganization. After you pay (yes, you have to pay upfront), you go sit down – but don’t expect anything to be brought to your table. Even if it’s raining, even if you’re carrying bags or sitting with kids, you’re on your own. They don’t care. You’re expected to get up again and pick up your drink or food by yourself like it’s a cheap school cafeteria. And as if that wasn’t enough, the absolute worst part of the experience was discovering ants crawling on my plate. Yes, ants – real, live ants walking casually around the rim of the dish as if this were completely normal. That’s when I realized this place isn’t just disorganized or poorly managed – it completely lacks hygiene, care, and basic customer service. They may rely on trendy decor and social media appeal, but behind the surface there is absolutely nothing: no hospitality, no warmth, no professionalism. Just a soulless, rushed, uncomfortable system that treats customers like numbers in a queue. It was honestly awful from beginning to end, and I would never, ever come back. I strongly recommend avoiding this place entirely if you care even a little bit about decent service, cleanliness, and being treated like a...
Read moreDecided to visit with my mum and friend after seeing photos of the place. It had a dirty unkempt feel to it. There were rotten leaves at many corners. We finally found a table and I went off to check the menu first. My mum and friend went after I came back and ordered for me too. The staff failed to inform them that food pick up was at another location. We sat around for a good while before going to check it out. In the meantime, there were used xups and plates lying on the table. Nobody came by in the 10 mins we waited to clear them. That's despite the fact that quite a few staffs were see standing around the cashier goofing around. I went up to them to ask for a plate. Spoke in English to a staff. He couldn't understand me, and had his colleague come assist me. The 2nd staff couldn't understand what a plate was and I switched to Thai. She shouted, " OH DISH" . They were fairly rude throughout. I will leave it up to others to judge whether plate is an uncommon word. The only saving grace was their burger and cake. They were decent. Needless to say I won't be back. Horrible service and attitude, environment leave loads...

you dont neex to answer me again. cus i dont believe you anyway.
I have never wanted to treat me like vip.
I wrote about the quality of the unmanaged staff and the cafe... Looking at the owner's reply, I understand why the employees are doing this and there seems to be no room for improvement. I now understand why there are so many bad comments on the blog about this cafe in Korea.
It's really not good. The hygiene, the worst food, the worst music, the worst of all, the staff service. A group of six went and ordered four drinks, one cake, two burgers, and one nacho. A table for two has empty cups, but they don't get cleaned up and stay dirty, and there are few group seats. I wonder why it's so popular. Chiang Mai has so many better...
