Charming restaurant outside of touristy area - Baan Kang Wat with top quality food at low price. I love their crispy pork (so called BBQ mix meat), steamed fish with soya sauce and salad here. Wait 20m for the fish but it's totally worth. It is mainly for the local so don't forget to ask them to make the food not spicy if you cannot handle it (though they forgot my request when I came there)

I cant understand why this Restaurant has so many good Reviews. We ordered 5 dishes and Not a single dish was good. One of the worst Thai Restaurants i have ever eaten (and i ate at many Thai restaurants before) The staff is really friendly but the food is terrible.... The food gets 0 of 5 Stars. The Service gets 5/5. But the best Service helps nothing If the food is Not eatable

Amazing food with good price and friendly staff. My most visited restaurants during my stay here. Best papaya salad in this area. I've tried their cucumber salad and mango salad too. Also highly recommend. Northern style herb sausage is a bit spicy, but also dilicious. Same for grilled chicken and pork neck. Highly recommended!!

Local restaurant, nice place to have a good Northern Thai style meal. The food is good, the price is reasonable (best in Chiangmai), the staff is helpful. The restaurant have indoor and open seats, it’s your choice. I fell so “local” to have some Chang beer with good food and a chill view 🍺

Love this resto! It's on the side of the road, relatively big but unassuming entrance. Food here is cheap but very tasty! The grilled drumstick was just 20 baht but it was the best I've had! Even a bottle of pepsi was just 10 baht. Most people that come here are local thais.
